We are sick and tired of supporting this war, and our broken health care system, and the general stupidity and passivity of our American brothers... But we have no idea where to go! Can you help us? We would prefer somewhere that isn't freezing cold, but of course things like national health care and good schools are more important than the silly weather.

Thank you!

By the way, I appreciate all the sympathetic and helpful responses... As for everyone who is being rude, noone is asking you to leave the US, so please be considerate even if you disagree.

If you like America and American values in general, but just want to escape Bush, then you don't have much choice. The UK is about it. Anywhere else in Europe just doesn't have the same mentality (although the Czechs are trying hard to catch up). Unless you actively want a massive change in your life, then France, Germany, Spain and Italy are just too different.

If you want to escape the Bush regime, and if you don't have any other attractive idea about where to go, you might try to migrate down to the land of the Bushmen (Khoisan) in yonder southern parts of Africa. Their traditional culture and racial integrity has anyway almost all been exterminated.

So you might try to escape from your own beloved Country of president Bush, and from the stupidity and passivity of your own American brothers, to the country of the Bushmen and there it would certainly not be so freezing cold, at least not during day.

Otherwise you might decide to stay and fight, fiercely and in a civilized way, politically against the Bush system, and so see if you can help bringing about a better regime. And you also might fight together with millions of other good and active citizens for the improvement of the health care system, and to make schools better etc.

But, please, do not try to move over to old and tired Europe where there already is plenty of American style and culture. See for instance european tv-channels. They are all mostly infested by American movies where bed mates make love with clothes on and linen in between, and where characters run around in the good old pistolero style and shoot at each other or smash each other's face in the name of exciting entertainment.

Good luck to you!

Social problems are experienced by all societies. We may encounter a wider variety due to the fact that we are such a diverse society. There will always be those people who prefer the status quo (no matter the country) and when faced with change will have difficulty accepting and dealing with such. But that is part of being human and living in a diverse society that continues evolving, bringing changes. Life doesn't remain static. It would serve no purpose for me to move across the ocean to areas where my various ancestors lived ten generations ago.

well my American friend, I am English which seems to be a rarity in the UK nowadays and I want to find somewhere free of the Labour Party regime. They have single handedly stripped the UK of it's identity and now we are being bombed for our forced upon hospitality.
Should of left Saddam in place to vent out his own punishments on a dispicable race.
May I suggest we re-settle the Isle of Man and rename it Englica?!

Not only you are sick and tired but the whole world is fad up of wars. Let the bush administration go to the hell. Whereas the peace lovers once again will find paradise in America for Americans. People do understand the American problems and feelings. God bless them. Amen
