So, Mr. Carter is now calling the currant administration "criminal" because we won't "negotiate" with Hamas and other terrorist groups in the Middle East.

What is he thinking? These people have call for our death on a daily basis for decades.

Hey, Remember Carter when he "negotiated" with Iran during the hostage crisis?

What is wrong with him... how can anyone agree with this NUT?

Why should you NOT be angry...at things...at people's replies...at society's complacency, at government's stupidity and misrepresentations...what's wrong with that?

It shows you care and that you are passionate about your beliefs as far as I'm concerned.

Some people need to be smacked across the head (figuratively speaking) before the cobwebs can be shaken from their unused brains don't you think?

Anger is a sign that something is wrong...not with the individual but with the environment around that individual.

Think about it...do you agree?

And if so...do you try to do something to change that environment, or just carry on whining?

The good sister has blocked me for answering ONE of her questions and I stopped answering RLP for all of the violations I got from answering her questions and now Sister Aimee sounds just like Ruth and RLP, are they the same person in your opinion. I don't like slamming people personally but I also won't be cowled into biting my tongue. I have said before, I think Ruth and RLP are two of the biggest offenders on the republican side of politics. What say you for those who have been here for a while?

I thought Jesus taught that we should help the least among us. Also, why do Republicans claim to be pro life, yet they tend to be staunch supporters of the death penalty. The whole Republican platform seems to clash with Christian philosophy. What a buncha hypocritical flip floppers.

And then pick a Canadian's song for her campaign theme?

There's already a backlash against the "Bush/Clinton Monarchy", why would she want to insinuate any connection to the mob?

That for every reference they make to William "money in the freezer" Jefferson, dems can list at least 20 corrupt, convicted, disbarred, or otherwise evicted public officials of their party ?

You guys can keep chanting that guys name as much as you want...the simple PROVEN fact is that Republicans are FAR more corrupt.

Some believe that President Bush blatantly abuses his power and the law though his use of signing statements to rewrite some 1100 laws enacted by Congress.

In this video, legal scholar Jonathan Turley discusses those signing statements and what appears to be blowback from federal officials who are refusing to follow Bush’s lead as it may have legal implications for them down the road..

The United States funds basic medical research into alot of different areas.

Admitting im biased, because I have family members with cancer.

But the following, just doesn't seem right to me.

The US spends 21 billion a year on Aids research.
The US spends 4.7 billion dollars a year on Cancer research.

There are 400,000 americans with Aids.
There are 10,000,000 americans with Cancer.

There are 15,000 Aids related deaths each year in the US.
There are 500,000 Cancer related deaths each year in the US

Now it seems to me, we should be spending the 21 billion on Cancer and the 4.7 billion a year on Aids research.

Based on the number of people affected.

Yes, I know, we could be spending more on each.

But, shouldn't we be spending more on a diease that effects the most people ?

Im posting this in both the politics and health sections, since it deals with both issues.

Charlienoble9201 wrote "The Libertarian party believes in Laissez Faire capitalism, homosexual marriage, political isolationism, and pulling the troops out of Afghanistan & Iraq. These are unrealistic goals."

They believe in the constitution and the fact that every american is born to make his or her own decisions. The believe in noninterventionalism - if you don't know what the difference between noninterventionalism and isolationism you ought to look it up because you sound really bad. They believe in getting our troops home safely and to try a different approach to foreign policy. What is wrong with that? NOTHING I SAY.

What say you others?
