I like the show's format, and I like him, because he exposes stupidity. His recent "outings" of judges who do not impose stiffer penalties for pedophiles has been excellent journalism.

I love open minded Liberals who call watchers of Fox closed minded. Who exactly has the closed mind? Liberalism permeates the culture. I would think Liberals would love to watch Fox so THEY might become Fair and Balanced. I have no problem watching CNN. If Fox is fixated on the latest Brittany Hilton story, and I want to watch the news, I turn the channel to *gasp* CNN. Liberals, try watching Fox. If nothing else, it should reinforce your beliefs.

First of all, he has a good time spot. This is partly due to his show's popularity. He has really little competition from the other major news networks during his time slot (8PM EST).

For the most part, I think he is fair. He is kind of an ***, but he is the same *** to everyone. I have watched him a few times and have seen that he does not let anyone get away with making outrageous statements without backing them up, regardless of political affiliation. He is not afraid to ask a hard question and isn't a puff-ball interviewer (like Larry King). He is willing to give everyone air time, even if he thinks they are full of crap.

What most people fail to see and understand is the fact that O'Reilly (like Olbermann, Coulter, Hannity, Colmes, Larry King, and others) are commentators, not journalists. They are editorialists, not reporters. Commentary and editorials are about opinion, where reporting and journalism are about fact. There is a distinct difference that most people don't get.

Most likely because he gives a different view of things than the liberal networks offer. Bill lets his viewers into the 'other side' of the news.....while the other channels all give us the same thing, liberal leftist views. Any healthy person needs to explore both sides of issues, and Bill does that ! He is not afraid of his enemies either.......the left leaning liberals......and that is MOST REFRESHING!!

Glad you asked. Because some people have common sense and know that he is right on most issues and that is why he beats the others 2 to 1.
They also watch to see why he bothers the liberals so much .... go back to point number 1.

Because it is the right-wing sewer directed at more moderate Americans.
He throws in a few minor bashes at a few right-wing/conservative types to appear to be balanced, but he is far from it.
Rush appeals to extremist right-wingers, to keep the going in the direction the right-wing wishes, and O'Reilly tries to appear more moderate in order for right-wing propoganda to cover all of their bases without turning some people off fromt he extrmism.
either way, the two have the same goal in mind. Right-wing coup d'etat!

He seems like an honest, stand up kinda guy who mixes humor and sarcasim with facts and opinions of others. I personally enjoy watching him (when subjects I care about are being discussed) because I generally agree with him, or am easily swayed to agree with him...why, because he just makes a lot of sense....and he's straigh forward, no "bloviating"

Because he is fair and presents the issues. He agrees with no political party.. he tells the true facts!

And there is nothing like seeing him expose some fool and then watching them tap dance when he grills them!

Tell me why Rev. J. Jackson won't go on his show? Bill asks him weekly... said he will give him the whole hour!

He's a straight shooter. "The No Spin Zone" doesn't mean he doesn't have opinions. He does. He shares them with viewers proudly. It means he doesn't bend with the winds like a bamboo tree. That's why he flattens his cable competition.
