Republican Conservative, and darn proud of it.

I'm a dues paying Libertarian, but I'll vote for whoever I think is the best candidate. In the last election I voted for a Libertarian, some republicans, some democrats, and even a Green. My ideology is Libertarian, but that doesn't always mean they run the best candidates. Just because I belong to a party does not mean I am obligated to them in any way.

Moderate Libertarian Conservative

Economics: As free as possible. Worth debate, but should not be over regulated.

Social Values: Should be a local issue and very rarely should it have to go to Federal authority.

Foreign Policy: Engaged constantly. Focusing primarily on economic, individual rights, and law. Willing to use force prior to any threat, but very prudent gone into...and constantly planned out.

Immigration:According to the times and within the political harmony of the country. Currently immigration should head more towards merit, since we'll be needing more physicans, pilots, etc. Primarily focused on immigrating the productive class in industries with huge increases in wages and less in deflated wages.

Entitlements: Funds should be moved towards private systems of funding, but must be open to tax deductable forms of funding medical.

Medicine: Complex issue, but should be less dominated by employees/government. More open and friendly to the individual. Entitlements need to be worked on to make medical more productive.

Welfare: Should be a state issue, not federal. The constitution doesn't allot this to the federal government (the courts just allow it).

Generally I'm a federalist, with a modern vision of foreign government. Close to what Adam and Jefferson was...within their gaps you'll find me.

Registered Democrat but don't always vote straight ticket. Sometimes I will vote for an independent or even a Republican if I believe they are the best candidate of those running.

I'm moderate. Not a Liberal or a Conservative nor Democrat or Republican, in other words, an American.

I tend to lean conservative/libertarian and probably would have called myself a Repub a couple years ago but then I realized I hate them all and I wouldn't dare lump myself in with either of the two parties. They're all filthy rich, they all lie, they're all corrupt, they're all (to quote South Park) either turd sandwiches or giant douches. The two-party system is a joke. I don't understand why people can't just have different opinions on different issues instead of having to completely agree with one party or the other. It's ridiculous.

I'm a Republican to answer your question.

I have a question for all of you...WHY ARE ALL OF THESE QUESTIONS ON THE POLITICS PAGE ABOUT REPUBLICANS AND DEMOCRATS!!!

I haven't really been active on here for a long time and it wasn't always like this. Get back to real politics and stop being fools. There is more to politics then Liberals and Conservatives.

I am identified as a Democrat on my voter registration card.

I am a liberal moderate in my political views.

I have been unjustly called an anti-American, left wing communist-lover who hates freedom, by some of the people here on Answers, who undoubtedly have never heard of Freedom of Speech, and like to accuse me of things I'm not.

1. I love America, and all of her freedoms.
2. Communism is an economic model, not a political one.
