Today on MSNBC web page, people were responding to questions about "Rumsfeld's Legacy" . A commentator said, "Rumsfeld will be remembered as a hero by Neo-Cons"
It sounded like a foreign business organization who benefited from the Iraq war.

Does this mean that I would be better off to stand in line with my hand out, rather than working hard just to have my income stolen from me in the form of taxes and given to someone else standing in line with their hand out?

They support a guy who got out of Vietnam by claiming a sore anus. A failure at being a liberal disc jockey named 'rusty', he became a welfare case, then was arrested in Pittsburg for soliciting homosexual prostitutes! His 3rd wife complained of a "sexless" marriage, and one of his former boyfriends says that he "guarantees that none of his show marriages was consumated"! Later he campaigned to put ronald reagan on Mt. Rushmore, claiming that he voted for him when in fact he never did. He then became a devious drug addict who violated federal drug laws and got off scott free, due his contacts in the republican-led government, for whom he is a loyal parrot. He now calls himself rush limbaugh, his 4th alias! Why do people so blindly follow this shameless druggy closet-queer former welfare case hack??

seriously, in the UK, Bush is a complete laughing stock- nearly every comedy programme on tv makes fun of the complete hopeless case of your president.
Do you realise?
Do you even care?
If you do, then why did you vote him in, back in the presidential elections?

Everyone thinks that your president is stupid and idiotic.
Do you even know the name of the British Prime Minister?
Or what party he stands for?
Or the name of his opposition?

In the last presedential elections, nearly everyone was praying tht Bush would come out of power, and now, we are practically dancing in the streets that at least he doesnt have complete control.

I'm sure loads of americans will now get extremely angry- please do, i'm interested.

Twenty years ago, southern Christians were more associated with the Democrats, since the Democrats were the party that worked for social justice, equality, helping the poor and defending the weak.

Since the 1990s, the GOP has reached out to Christians by promising them action on a slate of important issues such as abortion, gay marriage, prayer in school, and allowing teaching of creationism. They've now had six years of unilateral control in the White House and both houses of Congress. In those years, they achieved practically nothing on these issues.

So as Christians, we have to ask ourselves, if the GOP did nothing on these issues when they had total control, are they EVER going to do anything about them at the national level?

And if they are not, where should be align ourselves? Jesus calls us to love one another, defend the weak, support the poor, give to unfortunate. These don't sound like Republican values to me.

Do they to you?
