The Democrats have won back both the House and the Senate - a clear signal that Americans are tired of the bull**** that has been going on in D.C. for twelve long years.

After thinking about the election results and what alot of Dems stand for, it actually really worries me about who has taken Congress. I feel they voted out the Republicans to punish them, but didn't think about who they were voting in. They seem to have forgotten 9/11, see terrorism as no longer a threat, want to raise taxes (which directly coorelates with inflation), go headstrong against the Republicans to gridlock the government and further divide us as a nation for the sole purpose of gloating and arrogance instead of taking a win and using it to try their way of helping America. Does it worry any other conservatives about where our country may be led?

are they coming to get us with their aircrafdt carriers and massive airforce of bombers .dont you think that if we just secured our homeland by better boarder security and inspected every cargo vessel and passenger on any flight that was headed our way. and were more cafeful of who we let in. dont you think that we would be safer at home if our military was here to do that job rather than over there creating more people who hate us. if they want to hit us here do you think that they will go there to fight,,,,,WRONG. if they are here now its bushes fault for wasting all that time and money there instead of here.

Would you have voted for the Rebublican if Bush had fired Rumsfeld before the election?

It would not have changed my vote. But I am confused as to why Bush didn't fire Rumsfeld before the election. I believe it would have given the Republicans a bounce. And, I believe the decision cost them several of the closer seats (such the Montana and Virginia Senate seats).

Can Labour not choose its leader by some kind of democratic contest?

Should the membership get some say over their new leader ? Even if it isn't very democratic to give the Unions the largest say - 40% Unions, 30% MPs and 30% Membership.
