"The great masses of the people will more easily fall victims to a big lie than to a small one."

It applies to Bush, because he lied about Iraq having WMD to get people to go along with his war.

About the Senate. I do not mind who is in charge, and all. But there saying the Democrats are in charge. An I don't want to create controversey. An I might not be good with numbers. But it seems there is more Republicans than Democrats in the Senate. So how do they run the Senate? Thanks for the input.

If they have killed someone do you think it would be easy to go back to their regular lives as a civilian even though the shooting happened during a war?

I get tired of hearing about the liberal media. Could it be that media pretty much tells it like it is?

Democrats have already clearly stated how they intend to "get to work" over the next two years - by helping Bush push through a mass amnesty for illegal aliens - something his own republican House even prevented him doing - and also wasting time on the non-issue of the minimum wage.

Will raising the minimum wage and legalizing all illegal aliens re-instate the nine amendments to the Constitution that were abolished under the Military Commissions Act? Get rid of the domestic eavesdropping program? Claw back the out of control deficit?

We were told the Republicans were abandoned because of corruption and Iraq and yet the democrats have completely avoided specifics about how they intend to address these issues and on the question of impeachment have vowed to protect Bush.

Will there be dissapointment when the democrats commit the very crimes and misdemeanors that supposedly cost them the House and Senate in the first place?

Hence all the happy talk about bi-partisianship.

Sounds to me like Bush did a flip-flop. Just last week he said Rumsfeld was his guy. Told us loudly that Rumsfeld was going to stay on as SECDEF. Then he admitted yesterday that the decision was made long ago.

Lie or flip-flop? You decide.......

I mean, as a liberal, I have been accused of being "unpatriotic" for not agreeing the agenda of the former administration. So, now that all the Americans have spoken...are you going to get behind the new administration. Or, are you going to be *gasp* unpatriotic??? I hate to use such judgemental language, but I am only borrowing your term....

still talking about the past ?? Bush bashing, Gloating, Republican bashing, reporting people like children, practically foaming at the mouth.
I'd be very happy, smiling, joking, sharing a couple of my ideas, hopeful, and overall just feeling GOOD.

So please understand that this is really perplexing me.
I REALLY DO want to know . .. . Why aren't the dems HAPPY ??

Is it just me, or is anyone else not suprised by the fact that the Republicans are not calling in the lawyers, crying, yelling, and bickering about their losses like the Democrats always do.
