Because the White man makes synthetic drugs, and has $$ behind it. Who is going to make money if they legalize Marijuana? Not the big drug companies, that's for sure. People may find out they don't need to spend hundreds on prescription drugs if Mary Jane is legal.
Bottom line Drug companies don't want the competition!

Because marijuana is already illegal as a street drug. Codone on the streets is just as illegal.
Best bet: Organize a lobby, get some physicians and researchers behind it. Send someone to Congress.

it's about control, look at the prison system.
america actually would make a bunch of money if marijuana was taken off the black market and actually taxed. and they would save a bunch of money with the huge amount of convicts they'd release.
but certain people would lose money.

more money if its not legal.... its like the tax on tobacco... they know it kills but they don`t care.. its all about the money....
