To be completely honest I find the similarity between Bush and Hitler down right scary.
Bush: Dictator
Hitler: Dictator
Bush: tough talker
Hitler: tough talker
Bush: Idiot
Hitler: Idiot
Bush: war monger
Hitler: war monger
Bush: oppressive
Hitler: oppressive
Bush: lied to everybody
Hitler: lied to everybody
The sad part is I have noticed there is a lot of bitter Republicans in yahoo answers tonight and are just waiting to pounce on any democrat for their beliefs. They are sad and angry over the elections because they feel cheated. By all rights they should feel cheated but they don't realize why. Soon a lot of this administrations mistakes and cover-ups will come to the fore front and they will be disappointed to learn the truth about this government and all that has gone on over the last six years. Unfortunately if they would have peeled themselves away from Fox News and watched a non partisan media ( which is hard to find these days) They would have learned that there is more to what the dems were saying then Fox was willing to report! Most of them have probably never heard of the downing street memos. I know that there is a good chance that the minute this gets posted I will be hit with numerous thumbs down. But the fact remains that the truth is the truth whether it is known or not!

He did lie. It's not the first time.
And it still eats all his neo-con minions when you mention that he just sat there and read "My Pet Goat" while our country was attacked. After the 2nd plane attack, he waited sveral more minutes. Then he took pictures with some school children, putting them and their teacher in harm's way.
The he said Pakistan was a friend in the war on terror. Yet the 9/11 Commission has ignored evidence that $100,000 was wired to Mohammad Atta, one of the hijackers to assist him in the attacks.
Watch the video below to see how we have all been duped to believe the myth of 9/11. Deny it if you wish, and continue to buy into the conspiracy that the government and the mass media would rather you believe.

The president is not a Hitler.
The underlying issue you bring up is - can you compare the president to Hitler. The answer is no. Bush haters will often make this comparison but it is not true.
Is the United States moving in the direction of Totalitarianism? With recent laws passed by congress and sanctioned by the Supreme Court, one might say yes, we are.
And we have just witnessed an election which brings shared power back to government. With a liberal such as Nancy Pelosi as Speaker of the House, we will see a new agenda that will bring positive change to our nation.
The president did mislead the world about WMD, that is true, but that does not equate him to the German Fascists who brought genocide to the Jewish people and other social groups.

Bush was not the only person to believe Saddam had WMD. John Kerry thought they had WMD, the Bristish thought so as well. There is also a difference between lying and being proven wrong. If Bush THOUGHT (as others did) that there were WMD, and there are not, then he is WRONG. You're saying he knew all along, and lied to invade Iraq.
You're a MORON!!!!

As much as I may dislike (not agree with) GW's policies, Hitler was a Monster, GW is far from that!
Hitler's quote is a true statement (IMHO). However, it has been realized and used throughout the ages. The fact that Hitler said it does not make him the first to have made use of that fact! It is in common use even today! We have all witnessed recent commercials for one party or another on TV! You think these were all truth's??? Hardly!
Just, MHO!

I hope you are wrong but what were they hiding? We forget that they were not allowing UN inspectors to tour facilities. Those sites are hardly mentioned now specifically. Congress can invoke the war powers act to end direct involvement in Iraq. This is why the Senate races were so critical and may now be the next move for the dem's.

1. It takes a lousy man to take a good man's name and waste it on such a sh!t question.
2. They were destroying WMD before the war.
3. The remaining ones were shipped to Syria.
4. Only a fool wouldn't search the truth before determining a lie. He uses his own folly to gauge words.
5. Hitler hated Jews and used propaganda at the weakest point of the German people. They were ripe for the pickings.

He was given misleading information that was reported to him through "reliable" sources. He should not be carrying all the blame.
In October 2003, months after the Iraq war began, former President Bill Clinton visited Portuguese Prime Minister Jose Manuel Durao Barroso. Durao Barroso said, "When Clinton was here recently he told me he was absolutely convinced, given his years in the White House and the access to privileged information which he had, that Iraq possessed weapons of mass destruction until the end of the Saddam regime."

1) Why do you insist on saying he lied when what he said was consistent with what every Intel service in the world was saying at that time.
2) Comparing the leader of a free country to Hitler is obscene.
