East is east! That is the simple answer to that! However, to find it, who can possibly know which way you are facing??? Get a compass and it will be to the right of noth. It works in a clockwise direction, north, east,sout,west.. Another way is to get a map and find your location-decide which side of the street you are on etc and look for the compass sign on it and go by that.

I just bought a prayer rug, and it has a small compass with it so I don't get confused.
