Im wonder the Republicans know they gotta shove the Herbas Corupas and Terrorism legislature quick because they know democrats would not let those bills pass. The UN situtation the Bush team will try to pull over one for Bolton. Im expecting the republicans shove lots of legislature thru in these days what do you think.

I dont know a lot about taxes and all of that....but it just seems that they raise taxes on the wealthy and upper-middle class and give it to their funds for whoever the heck. I know some it goes to things like education, but others go to welfare and things under that genre. I just think it promotes laziness and instead of hard work. This is what it seems, can anybody explain it better?

Should they have more sovereignty in their own affairs or does the Federal government reign supreme on the issue of sovereignty in your opinion? I understand the constitutional aspects of this issue, but which would you prefer?

I'm just curious about this one. If you are a Republican with a family member in Iraq or other place and supported Bush in the beginning (Or just supported Bush, not necessarily Repub.), has this changed your opinion of Bush?

I am asking this because I'm curious, not because I am not a Republican. If I were, though, I really think it would have changed my mind about him if one of my loved ones had to go to war.

Recently, all 4 leading military papers called for Rumsfeld to resign or be fired. The Democrat majority won't be in until January yet they have already done so much more for our troops than the Republicans have done in the last six years - getting rid of Rumsfeld. It's obvious that if the Republicans kept the majority then he wouldn't have resigned, Bush even said that Rumsfeld wasn't going anywhere about a week ago. If this is what the Democrats can do before they are even in office, imagine what they will do when they get there! How about properly armored vehicles for our military?!

Clinton did absolutely nothing valuable in his presidency....obviously because he cant help but be defensive when someone confronts him. He straight-up lied on TV, and had to swallow his pride when he got caught in his nastiness. But Bush is just a good leader, whos aggressive in war, and is fighting hard to keep this country safe. Instead of sitting around in the oval office messing around with interns, Bush is making the tough decisions....yes the tough decisions that aren't easy to make. This is war, there are many things we don't understand. Let's face it, we don't know exactly what the intellegence knows. All we can do is trust, and not be so critical with a very hard war. Noone wants this, but it needed to be done. We have terrorist who HATE America. We arent weak....We are America...and we should fight hard for our freedom and safety...com'on guys!! Bush is the only person i would have trusted to be in office at this time of war...He's a true American.

after the elections Republicans have shown their true side by not posting the hateful, and bashing questions and answers the left so relentlessly have and still do. My hats off to you for the maturity and proven actions of just who are the better people.

Since the election Tuesday, there has been a lot of talk of certain politicians being "lame ducks." I was just wondering what this term meant, and perhaps how we came to use it in regards to politicians.

Thanks!

I mean look at it, awhile ago democrats were the rednecks and were pro slavery and founded the KKK, today it's the exact opposite, today it's the republicans that are rednecks, I mean what happened, when did it all change, when did democrats become the heroes? I'm not Republican or Democrat, I'm just confused as hell. Can someone please answer that question, I just wanna know what happened to politics and when did this all hapen?
