I doubt it, because anything passed could be overturned by the incoming Congress. Additionally, such underhanded tactics would undermine any cooperative spirit, which both parties need right now.

The best thing for both is to pass uncontroversial bills that are generally well supported by both sides.

It would be clever if the Republicans passed such laws as an increase in minimum wage, a stem cell bill, etc, and effectively take credit for this legislation that most Americans want before the Dems take office and get the recognition of being very productive and being in touch with the will of the voters.

I suspect Bush to trot out the old Presidential Signing Statements a few more times, and he will likely use the Veto a lot.

But he faces overwhelming opposition, and the fact that many in his Administration are under investigation, or soon will be.

Me thinks W finally started listening to DaddyBush.

Bush is a punk who knows when he's spanked. Let him go down in history as the worst president of all times. He doesn't deserve to shine Clinton's shoes.

Not NEARLY as much as Clinton did in his last hundred days. He pardoned every criminal he had deals with.
Bush has two more years in office, or did you forget?
