I am curious too - but since I'm not American I amn't a Republican or Democrat - I'm curious what they stand for at the moment and what political principles the respective parties have.

It seems that British Conservatism is a mix of the two so I'm not sure where I would stand politically in America.

Alas, this site does not seem to be used by either side for arguing their sides, just childish abuse of each other, with little fact or rational discourse, usually involving bad spelling, atrocious grammar, and a clear lack of education.
I'm a smug, literate Englishman, and find both sides highly amusing, even if it is a little disturbing that these people are actually allowed to vote.

Lot's of regulars, a few with intelligent questions or answers, and some just troll constantly. Just hang around and you'll catch on in a few days like we all did.

Get out now, there are insulting closed minded individuals who would rather insult the other side then discuss. Don't listen to anyone, just be your own judge. You wont have to wait long before you figure out who they are.

You don't really need to know everybody's political affiliations in order to ask questions or give answers on this site. If you have a question, ask it. If you have an answer, give it. Partisanship is overrated.
