not A CLEAR SIGNAL. do you know what it signaled to me? how SPLIT and DIVIDED this country really is.
how many times do i need to say this today Take a look at how close many of the races in the states were. guess what, my state stayed red, so big deal that power switched. It did so in 94, remember?

However, I like McCain. I did back in 2000 when I voted for him as well.

Look at any 2 term president's mid term election (6th year)
There is always a huge shift in the Senate and House of Representatives. This year it was actually pretty low compared to historical averages (49 house-12 Senate).
The Republicans did a terrible job of getting thier message out this year.

Sorry, but the center doesn't want them. Let them keep pandering to the bigots and far-right crazies. By 2008, the only places they'll have any support left will be Mississippi and Alabama......

I like Santorum from Pennsylvania, but he'll never be a candidate.
