They've always been there, they just didn't dare speak up for fear of angering Bush, Cheney, Hastert, DeLay, and the other neo-con leaders. They have been pushed around by their own leadership, and now that they don't have to kiss their arses to stay out of trouble anymore, they're speaking their minds.

What the conservative had forgotten is the fact that they are a minority, as are liberals. Moderates in this country are the majority and dole the power out to whomever they choose. The Democrats wised up this election and formed a slate of moderate and conservative candidates to run against the Republicans. Let's just hope they continue to draw their platform closer to center, or they'll lose that moderate support.

I think if Republicans take heed of the recent voter outrage they better start putting the Interests of this Nation first ...and not George Bush or pushing any more of the soak the rich" policy's that caused them in a large part their losses.
