In the House, my Representative from the 4th district of North Carolina, David Price. He's quiet, effecient, works for is constituents, is pretty middle of the road and is a good guy.

In the Senate, Daniel Inouye, from Hawaii. A true American senator and an outstanding leader. He's getting on, however.
Retiring Senator Patrick Leahy and Tom Harkin also make me proud to me a Democrat.

It almost seems cliched at this point, but if I had to choose, I'd go for Pelosi and Clinton. Both are very strong-willed, outspoken, and not afraid to take a less-popular stance if they truly believe it is in the best interest of their constituents.

That said, I continue to be weary of all professional politicians. There is far too much greed and self-serving power-hoarding in both parties.
