Name one single war that we fought that there wasn't any opposition to it. Yet we've won most every war. In World War 2, there were plenty of people opposed to it, but that opposition didn't bother our brave soldiers in the slightest. In WW2, we had a clear plan for victory, and our brave soldiers secured the victory; they didn't care that some people opposed the war.

Why shoud we believe that suddenly our soldiers can't fight effectively unless every solitary soul back in the USA supports the war. Our soldiers are NOT a bunch of softies. They are great American heroes and should not be hung out in Iraq for endless years of combat in a pointless, politically driven, and counterproductive war.

The conservatives say that our soldiers' psyches are so fragile that if they hear that not everyone is loving Georgie's war back home, that their morale will plummet and they won't be able to fight well anymore. They even say that the reason we haven't won Bush's war yet is because the soldiers' morale is down because they have heard there is some opposition to the war. I don't accept that.

Do you really think our soldiers are so mentally soft??? I don't. Our brave men and women are a lot tougher than that. What do you think??

... there was another American Revolution and Marxists overthrew the US government and it became the the People's Republic of America and the new Communist/Marxist party made the Democrats / Republicans illegal and everything became like the USSR (in regards to work, system of government, state control)

What would you do/feel about it?

!!!ALSO!!! how would this affect the rest of the world? Positively or negatively or what?

I know this is really far-fetched but i was just wondering since America was heavily anti-communist for a period of time.

Are we footing the bill for all of of Bush's fund-raising junkets. Nothing would make me happier to know that we're paying so Bush can fly all the country raising money so pro-war Republicans can buy elections so that he has enough votes to keep our soldiers dying in Iraq for years to come.

It kind of gives you warm fuzzies, doesn't it.

The UN and the world community, especially the rich nations of the US and UK, refused to stop the genocide in Rwanda, and now there is a chance for the world to save hundreds of thousands of lives in Sudan, but will we take action? Is the UN being rendered useless by the nations more interested in oil than lives? There is only one question here though; will the 21st century be one of
humanity or inhumanity?

Who has been holding onto these sexually explicit IMs for three years? If the Democrats really cared about children, this information should have been brought out immediately. But they wait 5 weeks before an election. This is an October suprise that will backfire of the Dems.
House Speaker Dennis Hastert said an hour after he learned of the IMs, Foley was gone. He took immediate action.
Now remember the e-mails that Hastert knew about were not sexually explicit. They were just chit chat and Foley was warned about that. But these IMs were sexually explicit and Hastert acted immediately when he learned of them. There are people in the Democrat party that are putting children at risk for political gain.

why do left-wing talk radio shows require donations from listeners, while right-wing shows are fully funded by the station? is it because left-wing talk radio shows are so disagreeable that they have to pay the station to stay on air? for example air america, funded by george soros. right-wing shows dont need funding from people or groups, seems there are stations that are ready to pay them to stay on air.

Here is what I think. Abortion is not right in my opinion and it has nothing to do with Religion. It is plain wrong, though sometimes it is justifiable speacially at times of rape and incest. In general I think abortion is wrong because no one has a way of predicting what kind of person the child will be. On the other hand criminals on death row already have shown what kind of persons they are and have committed hidieous crimes.

That's my opinion, what do you think and what is your opinion? And yes I would be what you consider a Liberal.

SOME Republicans on here seem to happy the deficit will only be 250 billion dollars!

Pardon me, we have a 8 trillion dollar national debt.....and some people are happy the deficit will be 250 billion? Rediculous. We have way too much debt to celebrate.

The deficit needs to be ZERO! And the national debt needs to be paid down.

voters are clearly disgusted. removing money out of the political process is the only solution. if we can blow $500 billion in iraq, we can certainly afford to finance elections using gov money giving equal expose to all parties......i know the politicians would fight it,,,,,,here's the kicker, they work for us, vote em out if they dont support it.
