Changing History is not a Spectator Sport! This is COUNTRY-WIDE!

The Bush regime is setting out to radically remake society very quickly, in a fascist way, and for generations to come. We must act now; the future is in the balance.

WASHINGTON (AP) - The Federal Communications Commission kicks off the first of six planned public hearings Tuesday to discuss a number of broadcast ownership rules, including whether a single company should be able to own both a newspaper and a television station in the same market.

Clear Channel Communications Inc. (CCU), the nation's largest radio broadcaster with about 1,200 stations, is lobbying the FCC to increase the radio ownership limits in the largest markets, like Los Angeles.

The ownership rules exist because the broadcast airwaves are owned by the public and the law requires that the public interest be considered in how they are regulated. Too much control over the broadcast media in a market is deemed not in the public interest, though limits have been loosened over the years.

I guess this is just postering - but what if it isn't. What happends if North Korea really does make a nuclear test. The US/Nato is fully commited elsewhere. Do we do nothing? I would like to suggest that we give the PRC an UN mandate to annix NK on humanitain grounds - and I know China has a terrible human rights record but at least half the population isn't staving!

Andy Stern seems to be getting a lot of publicity lately. He was on the Colbert Report the other night, just released his book.

He makes some valid points about the problems in america, however his solutions are to unionize everything, make government agencies responsible for everything, and get us one step closer to the biggest government of all: Communism.

His proposed solutions have endless "unintended consequenses" which will create loads of economic problems which he'll want to solve by creating beaurocracy, tax systems, and unions.

Additionally his views of economics seem to be amazingly incorrect. Too many to list here.

He makes false quote (like foreign steel goes to repair American Battleships....um, we retired the Battleships), the poor getting poorer (rolls off the tongue, but the poor in america have more than they did 50 years ago), uses skewed stats, and clealy has a full fledged adgenda.

Does anyone else see right through this guy???

The soldier are upholding our holy Christian faith. Jesus didn't die for nothing, he died so we have the freedom to eradicate all non-believers.

I don't consider myself as anti-semitic or anti-palestine. I don't support Israel be "wiped off the map" as suggested by the Iranian president. However, moving Israel is not really bad of an idea.

First, we have to know Jews were stripped of their homeland. Palestinians are stipped of their homeland too. Both are victims. While not all Jews were from Germany, it is natural that you return what you take away.

Germany should return land to Israel. Construction should be funded primarily by Germany and England, two countries who have created the mid-east mess. With Germany's high unemployment rate, building the new Israel will give a HUGE economic boost. They should build it somewhere near Leipzig in East Germany along the Polish border.

The "sacred" places (ie Jerusalem) in Palestine shall be occuppied as a "neutral state" by a UN force consisting of forces from Western and Arab states. This shall allow jews & muslims to go to pilgrimage without hassle from extremists.

Is this a liberal conspiracy to bring back the issue of gun control?

Will I get blasted by liberals who cannot believe my insensitivity?
Will the liberals learn how some of us feel about their treatment of our military?
Will the liberals learn how it feels when someone berates our President while our nation is at war?
Will the liberals accuse the republicans of causing the school shootings because we uphold the 2nd amendment?
Will the liberals blame the shooters?
Will anything get done to ensure that our schools are safer for our children, or will the liberals accuse us of taking our children's rights away?

If you know the percent who don't have health care in California that would be even better. California is proposing an initiative that would raise cigarette taxes to $3.47/pack in part to pay for health, dental and vision benefits for illegal immigrant children.

This is America's 8 trillion dollar national debt. It was greatly increased by President Bush after President Clinton created three straight surpluses and lowered the debt. What does President Bush plan on doing about this? Former Fed Chairman Greenspan this is of great concern.
