And dems argue for dems and republicans for republicans and it creates hate and gets everybody nowhere. It is like they will live and die for a bunch of power hungry, self centered egomaniacs.

Cassandra your participation is a waste of valuable time and all you do is create enemies with people who would otherwise like you.

Class War and for the 1%, but they control the oval office, senate and house by a majority vote (Over 50%). Another one liner without debate just like the mudslinging ads. Quit wasting your time.

i think this is a stupid argument that allows someone to get out of paricipating.
obviously it is not true or politics wouldn't have created changes in this society. judge the politician by what they produce, not by their rhetoric, and certainly not by what FOX "news" says about them. Jeepers, yesterday, Fox kept running captions saying Foley is a democract!!!!
Open your eyes - there's a class war going on and the media is on the side of the top 1%. Not all politicians are with them.
people who 'don't like politics' are abandoning their responsibility as citizens. and are letting someone else choose what cable companies are allowed intown and what they must provide, how the water you drink will be cleaned, how the schools will be funded, how the health epidemics will be controlled, how the hungry will be fed, whether or not you die to make some guy richer or you get to live out the american dream. thanks, comrades.

No matter who's running, I find it difficult to trust them because it always seems they somehow manage to go against what they had originally said...I would never be happy with who I voted for, so I just throw away my vote by not going. Granted, I don't have a right to complain when things go bad, but at least I won't feel like it's my fault!

Yes they are for themselves. But, we have to distinguish between those who are more concerned with their own personal gain, and those who want to win (or want the opponent to lose) because they are passionate about what they are doing and believe they are doing something so important that they must win. It doesn't mean they're right, but many believe they are on the right side of history and have a mission to carry out.

Have you tried to get voters to support your position at the poles?
Have you written any letters to congress or anyone stating your position? If you have not done anything, then you have nothing to say. If you want to change things, do something! YOU COUNT, just like every one of us.
they cannot stay there unless we do nothing or vote for them.
It is up to YOU / US!

And the dems call the GOP liars and the GOP call the Dems liars and we might as well lock them in a room with a Rambo-style survival knife.
Whoever comes out, wins

I'm not with you.
I used to be but found myself watching as the republicans slung more rhetoric at Bill Clinton that any human could possibly take.
It is time we democrats start slinging it back so hard that it stains their faces.
