Great question, but I think you caught a couple of republicans in it. They have a notoriously absent sense of humour when it comes to the hypocrisy of their own party.

Actually, first it was powell, and now it's Foley. The GOP scapegoat, I mean. They're all as crooked as the day is long, but they get the public's eye off their corruption by pointing fingers at scapegoats.
