Democracy is not a solution for our problems. Democracy is only a tool for us to tell our representatives. Main solution for our problems is ourself only how we want to make our problems becomes simple or comlex.
We have to realize, some people says politic is a dirty thing. Sometime I think it is right. How many times do we see or find one innocent becomes the guilty one because of politic even though he / she lives in a democracy country.
So, the best way to find solution is, we have to know what our problem is. We can not count on the system.
After knowing, we have to understand it. After that we have to find all options that we have or others give. The final step, we have to take only one option from options, this step we always called decision not democracy.

Yes it is a solution because although not perfect it is the best system we have. If we did not have democracy what would we have? communism? Communist countries tend to abuse human rights and you usually have no right to freedom of speech under communism. Facism? just as bad. Democracy is not perfection but it is the closest political system that we as human beings can ever hope to achieve. It helps us solve our problems because none of these other systems do it as well. At least with democracy we all get a say in the decision making process when it comes to solving our problems. Under a communist/facist system you get no say and someone else makes the decision.

We used to have democracy in England - mind you I've only read about it in history books - never actually experienced it!

Our problems? As in the USA? Sure.
Breakup the gerrymandered districts, lessen the power of lobbyists, and restrict special interest money and we're good!

Democracy is merely an ILLUSION, because THIS secret and evil group has been in control of everything for far too long!...
