I don't remember who said it but it was something along the lines of if every black baby would be aborted, the crime rate would go down. How much truth does that statement hold?

There have been commercials with black athletes in them, and in those commercials they say that 65% of inmates consist of black people, implying that this country is racist. So as long as these racists athletes, and the other racists out there exist, then crime will always stay the way it is

I wrote this up in my blog when it happened:

-On a recent episode of his radio show, Moring in America, a caller tried pointing out that if the country had the income of all the the aborted children since Roe V Wade, we wouldn’t have a problem with Social Security. Mr. Bennett accuratly pointed out that this was true, providing that all of those children would have become useful members of society. You could tell his opinion was dubious at best.

This is where things got odd. Mr. Bennett says that statistics show that since abortion rates have gone up, crime rates have dropped. He goes on to say:

“But I do know that it’s true that if you wanted to reduce crime, you could, if that were your sole purpose, you could abort every black baby in this country, and your crime rate would go down, an impossible, ridiculous and morally reprehensible thing to do, but your crime rate would go down. So these far-out, these far-reaching, extensive extrapolations are, I think, tricky.”-

And no, it's not true.

President George W. Bush called Bennett's statements "not appropriate" in a statement read by White House Press Secretary Scott McClellan.

One of the few times I agree with him.

That statement holds no validity whatsoever. If the fetuses of _horrible parents_ were aborted then that statement would be true. Not to mention changing the whole general view of society today.

WOW--I can't believe someone actually said that. How awful!!!!!! Does that statement hold truth?? I'm not even sure I should dignify that with an answer. I think any intelligent person would know that is an idiotic question.

people who say such issues in keeping with the certainty "can not understand" those issues because of the fact they are spiritually understood. (a million Cor. 2:14) Stand reliable and proclaim the solid information any way! it is "the skill of God unto salvation" to all people who've been given the pleasing, invaluable present of religion.
