Im serious. Lets just take Canada. They have a leaf for Gods sake on their Flag. They love maple syrup and they try to be Americans. They have no navy except a few little boats .

How long would it take for The USA to completely take over Canada.

As a Republican I believe in conservation. It would be more lucrative and beneficial to make Canada one of our largest states.

Its not like we are afraid of them. They have no power. We can send 100 American Marines and own canada in a few hours.

I would like to think all this hatred, slander, viciousness, etc. would end with the next election but I doubt that it will.

What has happened to us? Why do we hate each other, why are politicians and 'we the people' so mean spirited. Why do we elate in the misfortune and sins of others? Why are we so self-righteous that we are blinded to others opinions? Why do we and politicians bellow with such disrespect. Why do we think we are so perfect?

Can't we just civilally agree to disagree and still be respectful?

This hatred is not making anyone or our country more peaceful. Reading the Q&A's on politics leaves one filled with anxiety and disqust.

Please people let the hatred go. It's no good for you or anyone else.

That's my say for today. You have exhausted me with your viciousness. 'if the shoe fits' you will know it.

This is coming from a very non-religious conservative.

But I always growing up was surrounded by a religious family, and the Ten commandments always sounded good to me. And I based growing up loosely on the foundations of christianity. Looking at all of these kids under 18, it seems like they don't have enough faith in their life that they have a reason to not be retarded.

They have no respect, they except everything to be handed to them, and they do not want to progress fruitfully.

is this the lack of religion / faith in goodness / eternal punishment?

I've heard rheotoric saying Bill Clinton and other Democrats could have done something about the Foley Sexual predator issue before 2000, so the blame should somehow be on them.

The Bush Admin. did not recieve special documents from Clinton about Foley...so it's the Democrats fault that Foley was allowed to stay in office? Are they saying Clinton had 8 years to catch Foley, but was a Liberal low life and chicken...GIVE ME A BREAK...Republicans are really good at blaming others for their mistakes and problems.

Clinton admitted he failed in getting Osama... I'm no fan of Clinton. However, the Cole bombing occurred just a few months before Bush took office AND it was found in January 2001 (after Bush's inauguration) that Osama was responsible for the Cole Bombing.

Hence, if he knew that Osama was a threat from the prior administration... and knew that Osama attacked the Cole... I can't understand why NOTHING was done. He mentioned Saddam countless times from inauguration to 9/11/01... but no mention of the man or group who attacked us.

Can any Bush supporters show any evidence of Bush stating anything about Osama or Al Qaeda from inauguration to 9/10/01?

Thanks!

I have been listening to Republicans complain about what Democrats knew about the Mark Foley thing. What difference does that make? Republicans knew about this thing for years, had all the power in Washington and still did nothing.

Even assuming the Democrats knew anything, what could they do? They don’t have majority on any committee, they do not have subpoena power, or anything.

This is a Republican issue and theirs alone.

"so you're racist"
"so you're the KKK"

no no and no

It is ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION
Use the proper way into this country and you have my support.

It is not RACIST, KKK, violent, or vigilante to want to protect your borders. If you disagree you're wrong.

Personally, I think it is because we've become too complacent. We're not grateful for our freedom, we take it for granted. We live in a 'I want it right now!' society.

Please answe WITHOUT laying blame on any particular group of people, thank you...Salam Aliakum.

Some think the more high-profile right wing talking heads such as Bill O'Reilly and Ann Coulter are really not that sincere and are just out to make money. If so, then they are not "nuts" but just opportunists, trying to gain attention and an audience by being controversial. Their commercial success would tend to encourage future highly polarizing positions on issues. My question deals with their motives - Do you believe they really believe what they say or write all the time, and do you think such strong beliefs makes them nuts? Or do you think we are all being "played" for fools, and they are laughing all the way to the bank?

Using foul language and shouting at everyone over some silly "report". I've been reported a lot and continue to do so, I'm not cursing anyone. What's with these aggressive human beings? And the truth, puh-lease, you can't handle the truth!

But you do have the right to speak freely. So more power to you on that. But maybe next time use it in a more positive way. Yes?

George W. Bush is sitting at a 38% job approval rating. He may be the most controversial U.S. president since Richard Nixon, and certainly the country is more divided than at any time since the Vietnam War. With the ongoing war in Iraq, new revelations from books such as Bob Woodward's "State of Denial", and the prospect for a change of control of Congress to the Democrats, many believe he is an historically poor president. Some even call for his impeachment. What do you think? Is the Bush presidency a failure? Will it go down in history as historically bad? Or will history look more kindly on the Bush administration just as Harry Truman today is more highly regarded than when he was in office? Why would Bush's image be rehabilitated in the future? Finally, who do you want to see as the President to succeed him?

Repubs are really good at playing the victim. It's always the liberal media that's "out to get them" or it was the democrats who sat on Foley's IMs (chuckle). Is there no situation that can be turned into Republicans being the victim?

When will they grow a set?
