"so you hate immigration"
"so you're racist"
"so you're the KKK"

no no and no

It is ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION
Use the proper way into this country and you have my support.

It is not RACIST, KKK, violent, or vigilante to want to protect your borders. If you disagree you're wrong.

Okay g, you say it's not a clear cut issue.

There's reasons why it happens, this is true, on both sides, but it is a CLEAR cut issue that illegal immiration is wrong..or well, it should be a clear cut issue, but some people don't realize this

I believe that the reason it is not a clear cut deal is because farmers cannot survive without illegal immigration. Farmers are the backbone of this country and I honestly believe the reason nothing has been done is because Congress knows the harm to farmers.

Also, Walmart and other huge businesses utilize illegal labor and they contribute to Congressional campaigns.

It is not a "clear cut" issue because it is a complex problem with no simple answers.

First off, if a child is born to illegal immigrants in the United States, the child is automatically an American citizen. That makes it rather complicated, both morally and legally, if you want to deport the parents.

And, believe it or not, they do perform the jobs that Americans won't do - at least for the same wages they are paid - and that brings another concern to the issue: How much more are you willing to pay for your vegetables and fruit at the grocery store?

And, simply put, we do not have the funding or the resources to round up 10 million or so illegal aliens, process them through the courts and finally, deport them. And what makes this even worse is the fact that they will easily return through our open borders. What do you suggest for a second time offender - we certainly don't have room in our jails.

The only thing that is "clear cut" is the fact that they are indeed breaking the law - however, the the solutions are not. I don't have the answer and, apparently, neither do our representatives.

It is a clear cut issue unless you have some vested interest. Which many people in Congress and the business community do... It is obviously wrong to keep letting people break our laws with no ill consequences. Of course Mexicans will try to get away with whatever they can. They could care less about this country or its laws.

You know what, someone asked this question about a week ago.
"Why don't republicans(since they control the white house) ban illegal immigration?"

That person, deserved a beating for asking that question

EDIT: Wait, how do farmers use illegal immigration Salem?

You got it right. If common sense was a crime, there is not enough evidence to convict anyone in Congress. The operative word is: "ILLEGAL" What part of that word don't people (including Congres) understand??

it's a "black and white" tilted arguement... you either do this or you're this bad thing...

things are never black and white...

it's just like the whole "you either support the war in Iraq, or you're a terrorist"... things are far from that simple... on both issues
