Im serious. Lets just take Canada. They have a leaf for Gods sake on their Flag. They love maple syrup and they try to be Americans. They have no navy except a few little boats .

How long would it take for The USA to completely take over Canada.

As a Republican I believe in conservation. It would be more lucrative and beneficial to make Canada one of our largest states.

Its not like we are afraid of them. They have no power. We can send 100 American Marines and own canada in a few hours.

Because it would start WW3 against America. Britain and France colonized Canada, and both still have strong ties in the country. America would be the aggressors, and NO ONE would be on our side. We have absolutely no reason to attack Canada. It would be stupid. Britain, Israel, and several other countries who believe we are already to nosy now ( which we are) would just blow our whole country to crap. It isn't just pointless, it is apocalyptic.

First off, you are a POSER, a FUDGER and a BRAINLESS IDIOT who gives the rest of the Republicans - if you even ARE one - a bad name.

I have been looking at your questions and answers.

Anybody who asks if 'meatsicklez' should be considered for Miss Universe is clearly OFF HIS STICK. It debases every other question you pose.

Secondly: you have NO grasp of history, the sovereignty of independent states, the meaning of culture, or the friendship of neighbouring nations.

Thirdly: you ought to stick to concepts that are within your intellectual grasp, such as whether your nap should be fifteen or twenty minutes long.

AND THIS IS FOR ALL YOU AMERICANS WHO ANSWERED:

At least a good number of you have brains and respect for others. And an understanding of history, culture, and what makes good neighbours.

Canada holds dear a number of concepts that go against the grain of every-man-for-himself:

a belief that there is strength in numbers, that being inclusive is ultimately more productive than being exclusive;

that a healthy society is a strong society;

that it is better for individuals and their society to take care of the weak, the less fortunate, the damaged, because me-ism serves only whatever individual makes it to the top of the heap by hook or by crook - mostly the latter;

that understanding other societies is better than trammelling their values and ramming one's own down their throats.

It even accepts that, in extending these rights and freedoms to its immigrants it may, from time to time, make mistakes; it is better than trying to force everyone into the same mould.

To top it off it has a system of government that can, in many circumstances, throw out its ruling party when it has transgressed in unacceptable ways.

Just look at your situation:

You have a "president" who is clearly lacking a number of attributes (just fill in the blanks, you know what goes where) and a "vice-president" who is outright dangerous, and you know that you can't get rid of either until they have done two more years of damage to your country;

Right after 9/11 you had the love and respect and sympathy of the entire planet; you had a very healthy surplus; you could DO NO WRONG.

Except that the creme de la creme of Republican leadership fixated on Saddam as if he were the arch fiend;
they committed the lives of too many idealistic young people to a fruitless war in Afghanistan and then Iraq;
they LIED to you, telling you that there were more WMDs than Iraqis; they LIED to you again, telling you that Saddam and bin Laden were in cahoots;
they KEEP LYING to you about any number of things;
they are MANIPULATING you, extinguishing such fundamental rights as freedom of the press and waving such red-flag issues as gay marriage whenever anyone tries to address the ongoing loss of your freedoms.

They are dismantling the tri-partite structure of government and replacing it, insidiously, with what you can call either an empire or a dictatorship, it hardly matters when the effect is the same.

And someone like this twerp suggests that YOU can - and should - take over Canada?

many of you foolish Gringos seem to fail to understand the difference between military conquest and democratic power of the people. I can tell you that if you added 30 million Canadians into the voting pool of your country there's no way a botched abortion like George W Bush would ever get elected. Obviously you have never been to Canada (if you came here and hung out in the McDonalds at the airport it doesn't count). If you knew anything about it you would realize that the very reason Canada exists is because Canadians do not want to be citizens of the United States of America. What about that makes you think it would possibly be a good idea to conquer Canada? Do you want that many people living in your country against their will? Aren't you the least bit worried about too much concentration of power in one place? Get a brain and stop thinking with the big gun that compensates for your tiny penis.

Wow! You are ambitious!

We haven't taken Canada because they are their own country with a unique history, even if it seems pretty bland to us. Also, although they seem pretty tame, they do have a military body and a very structured government voted for by lots of extremely loyal citizens who probably wouldn't take kindly to someone talking about them like they don't ACTUALLY exist.

As a Republican (I hope to dear God that you are joking about all of this, especially being part of the GOP. They have enough problems with child predators right now without average Republicans representing by declaring war on benign countries!) you should consider that in the war, Canada has been a friendly country to the US. And we have trading rights with them via NAFTA that make needing to take them over virtually irrelevant.

Furthermore, over half of Canada is not even populated and the weather is extremely uncomfortable. If people really wanted to rough it there to get prime real estate, they would have done it by now. Don't believe me, just ask those crazy Canadians. They might even give it to you for next to nothing because they know you simply won't want to live there once you stay for a winter.

And lastly, talking like this is just kinda lame. I am ashamed at how cavalier a few Americans have become about our delicate international relationships. We aren't really like this and most Americans don't really think that we are as invincible and all mighty as some of our leaders like to play off. We aren't cowboys, for God's sake! We are a piece of land with fragile humans playing out their brief life spans out upon, just like everyone else.

My God is there no lows that you American right wing loonies will not go down to?

What's the matter with you all, you're all war mad. I reckon you should take yourselves over and do the rest of the World a BIG favour. By the way Canada is a far better place than the US will ever be and it wouldn't want to be part of a crumby has been like the US.

Yes, we can just take anywhere we want and make it a state.
Are you crazy?

Don't you think Canada has a say in this situation? Or whatever other country that you think we should make into a state. Do you think they would just give in and become a state? Or would you think they are happier for now with being their own country. Seems like I never hear any serious controversy involving canada and other countries. Why would they want to join us?

This time, George W Bush posted the correct answer. There is an effort underway to create a three-nation union between Canada, the US and Mexico.

Have you heard of the proposed North American Union (NAU)? It is a well devised scheme to effectively dissolve the international borders between the U.S., Canada, and Mexico, making the North American continent one nation. It is a part of the Illuminati agenda for a New World Order police state.
