Mother Goose should be considered a fairy tale--apolitical.

If she were a Democrat, Cheney would take her duck hunting, have a few drinks and blow her head off. The FBI would remove all her stories from the library to hold as classified documents in an effort to prove she never really existed, like WMDs in reverse. It wouldn't do for the public to know that Mother Goose was collateral damage in the pursuit of a subversive duck!
The real tragedy of it is that Laura will have to find other books to home school Georgie.

Mother Goose is far too nice to be a conservative. She would be compassionate to the poor and the elderly. She would most certainly take the liberal side on the environment.

She wouldn't be a pawn for oil companies or big business. And she would frown on the conservatives' general disdain for the environment. Not to mention their gung ho view on guns, used to shoot many of her kind.

Yes, Mother Goose would be a liberal

Mother goose is loving to children and animals and has a garden where she grows her own vegetables,

then in the privacy of her home she damns those greedy Jews who control the world!

Mother Goose's rhymes are symbollically anti-Royal family.
I suppose that would make her a progressive.

Don't be silly, Mother Goose lived before women's suffrage. Her husband would have voted.

Since she was all about fairy tales I'd say she was a liberal Democrat for sure.

Fairy tales.

Now if you had said "Old Mother Hubbard," I would say Republican. She had been taxed into poverty.
