I would like to think all this hatred, slander, viciousness, etc. would end with the next election but I doubt that it will.

What has happened to us? Why do we hate each other, why are politicians and 'we the people' so mean spirited. Why do we elate in the misfortune and sins of others? Why are we so self-righteous that we are blinded to others opinions? Why do we and politicians bellow with such disrespect. Why do we think we are so perfect?

Can't we just civilally agree to disagree and still be respectful?

This hatred is not making anyone or our country more peaceful. Reading the Q&A's on politics leaves one filled with anxiety and disqust.

Please people let the hatred go. It's no good for you or anyone else.

That's my say for today. You have exhausted me with your viciousness. 'if the shoe fits' you will know it.

I wholeheartedly agree with you. Politicians should act like adults, and agree that they will disagree on a professional level. There is no need for name calling, and slander to further corrupt the already corrupt political environment. Hatred is such a negative, and exhausting emotion, and quite frankly, I am tired of such childish antics. I miss M. Ghandi!!!!!!

The thing that most bothers me is the "team sport" mentality - the blind support of one's own side, right or wrong. This is fine in football, but suicidal in politics.

If we as people can't ever admit that a single mistake has been made by a member of our own party, we have ceased to think and become nothing more than lemmings in a frenzy - democracy is dead if this takes hold.

And, of course, if no one can admit a mistake, then we as a nation will always have leaders that never learn from experience.

Do we really want this?

Andrew Jackson the father of and advocate of the two party system is responsible.

Everyone should shut up and join the Redsters. We can get a standardized uniform for everyone and a standardized pay grade. One bowl of soup and a slice of bread each day.

The money saved by eliminating all campaigns, would pay for infantry weapons for everyone. We could march across the Bearing Sea and attack Korea.

Go big Red Go

choose for it. I answer extreme questions heavily, biased questions in a partisan way and stupid questions with stupid solutions. I frequently forget approximately long rambling questions. There are continuously jerks yet discover maximum persons respond besides that. i could like extra extreme questions.

If you look closely, the hatred is coming from one side, The Republicans. Everyone else is simply reacting to it.

Yes.

It's one thing to debate - it's another thing to personally attack individuals. I try not to do this... but I will say that on occasion, I get angry and I don't necessarily represent my views as I should.

Great post.
