the aral sea is drying up because over 80% of the water in the river which runs into it has been used for irrigation projects (thousands of miles of cotton fields)
the area around lake chad is getting drier and drier. some of it might be due to people cutting trees down for firewood

global warming might be happening, but not due to human activity. We had far warmer temperatures in the 12-13 century, and much colder in 16 century

Because of the earth's rotation and orbit. You see, each year the orbit of the earth alters a bit, and it's rotation is a little different, which affects the moon, which affects the tides. In the case of such inland bodies of water such as those you mentioned, the tide is altered 90 degrees, and each day water rises up OUT of the sea beds, and into the sky. This is why it is so humid in those areas. The water is not lost, no indeed; because of a happy chance of nature, the water in the atmosphere travels a bit until it condenses, and then comes down as rain, most of it falling on the United States, thus making the USA even more prosperous and successful and powerful. Also, America is where God lives.

Things change. You do know water just moves around it is not lost. There are scientists who have done studies on the magnetic field and believe it is in a weakening period that happens just before the poles flip. When this happens it effects global weather patterns. This theory does not get media attention because it does not fit into any political agenda.

In both cases it's because many water streams that drained into those lakes were diverted to irrigate. In the case of Lake Chad it's also because of less precipitation.

The inland seas that you mention have had the rivers that supply them used for irrigation so they can grow food, the trouble is the land is mainly desert and so most of the water just get wasted, It outragious what is happening and how goverments can get away with it
