Let's say you had $100,000 debt on your credit card and you had to make payments of $10,000 a month to cover the interest you owe. Well as long as you have a job so that you can pay that $10,000 a month you have no problems. You only have a problem if you lose your job. So unless America goes bankrupt we can sustain, what may seem to you, like an enourmous deficit.

The national debt and deficit are not the boogeymen we once thought they were. I'm not a fan of them, but I don't believe this country will be ground into misery by them either.
This country has both for almost it's entire history, and we've done well. As long as our economy keeps growing larger, we'll be OK.
