why do left-wing talk radio shows require donations from listeners, while right-wing shows are fully funded by the station? is it because left-wing talk radio shows are so disagreeable that they have to pay the station to stay on air? for example air america, funded by george soros. right-wing shows dont need funding from people or groups, seems there are stations that are ready to pay them to stay on air.

Have you tried to listen to Airhead America? It is sophomoric hateful and full of inside references! Just push the demoncratic platform, "hate Bush". Why would anybody advertise on these shows, no body would listen to this garbage day after day. You wonder if they are even trying to get listeners.

Liberal talk radio, what there is of it, is only full of hate and vitriol for the conservatives. Of course they haven't had very good representation - Wierd Al F. and the screamer Ms G.

Consequently, they don't get any serious listeners, which leads to extremely low ratings, which means no sponser in their right (or left) mind will invest their limited advertising dollars.

Conservative talk radio, on the other hand, attracts a lot of listeners, both those who agree and those who don't, the ratings are high, and sponsers will invest in advertising time in those time slots.

Remember, rating have nothing to do with whether or not you like the show, if you are listening to it, you count, and are exposing yourself to the advertising. It's a numbers game.
