I usually get some retarded retort like "its a choice mannnn" "Freedom of expression mannnn".
Apparently it doesnt matter that he baby would have opted for a different "choice" or that many died for the preservation of our flag.

Considering I've seen many Liberals on television and on the news boldly expressing their views, I'd have to say that your statement is false.
And to me I believe that the child isn't an independant being for a certain time into the pregnancy, an embryo to me isn't a person. So up to a certain time I think a pregnant woman should be able to chose to have an abortion.
As far as flag burning goes, why are Republicans trying to focus on issues that don't hurt anyone else, ie flag burning and gay marriage. Niether of those issues effects anyone but those doing the specific acts, so why does a law need to be made banning them. Flag Burning is an expression of protest. It shows how upset a person is with their government and under freedom of expression we should not be able to make burning the American Flag illegal.
So there are my opinions, I'm sure you consider me a liberal and I would like to ask. Have I "cut and run?" Am I "embarassed" of my own party?

I'm not a "liberal" - you can't pigeonhole me that easily - but I'll take you on.
Abortion? You aren't going to get rid of it no matter what you do. Make it illegal, and you simply open up a bunch of back alley clinics. Take my word for it, nobody thinks abortion is "great," in spite of all the Ann Coulter regurgitate you're going to spit at me about how "libs" get off on "baby killing." With so-called conservatives, it's really all about minding everybody else's business anyway. If you cared about preserving human life at all costs, you wouldn't support a war of choice that's only exacerbating the terrorism problem, as everybody knows now. If it helps you visualize, you can consider soldier deaths as abortions in the 70th trimester.
Flag burning? LOL. Please. Like this is such a problem. Yeah, I see hippies burning flags all the time, something must be done. Flag burning is just another meaningless non-issue "championed" by "conservatives" who can't distinguish symbols from the things they're supposed to represent. You're all against burning the flag - that epidemic problem! - but you have no problem with a President who torches the Constitution. So tell me who isn't "logical" and "rational" - you know, in between your campaigns to teach mythology in science class and your oil company sponsored denials of the reality of global warming.

No-- discuss the issue
Abortion is legal-- R v Wade was about states rights. Nobody wants to see abortions but they are PERSONAL issues. It is decided already and legal, deal with it.
Burning the Flag - most people abhor it but it too is legal and protected under free speech. Our country is MUCH stronger than a piece of cloth. Besides burning a flag is the correct, legal way to dispose of it.
So what's your point? I answered your questions -- just because you don't like the answer doesn't mean I didn't answer it.

Here's a liberal perspective:
Abortion: It's the WOMAN'S choice and noone elses.
Flag Burning: Ya know, it breaks my heart to see someone burning my flag. But I am willing to DIE for their right to do it.

Why do you find it necessary to bash liberals with such rubbish, are you really that insecure about your own political views????
Works better if you state what you believe instead of bashing what someone else chooses to believe
Oh and: the only legitimate reason to burn our flag in protest, will be if someone says we can't.
Since I CHOOSE to be pro life, am I pro choice?????

And Republicans answer those questions properly? I think the Republicans are the embarrassed ones, because they just tell you one thing and do another.
