It isn't a conspiracy theory. It is a deliberate attempt to recreate the truth in order to mislead the gullible people who are ready to eat it up. The reality is too hard for some people to accept. Republicans will protect pedophiles if it means they have another vote to count on in congress. My "conspiracy theory" would be that the Republicans knew what he was doing andthey used it to manipulate his votes.
