What happened? Usually, the two parties have always fluctuated, through out history, going from 'radical' to 'moderate'. In the end they both push themselves in and out of the 'moderate range' of the 'political spectrum'(at least they did). Is it me or have they both fallen 'out of touch' with the American Public? Isn't there a case to be made that just short of cold-blooded killing, both parties are reaching 'extreme radical levels'? Is it so bad to say that the majority of 'party liners' have been dooped into believeing that they are as radical as their party has gotten?

I want all sides here... I'd love to hear from anyone who has a REAL ANSWER... whether you agree or disagree.

Thanks in advance.

Men not only in the Middle East, but in other countries around the world (like the US, UK) many of whom are in college. Why are these recruits mostly young men, and why are these young men willing to blow themselves (and others) up?

From a strict American perspective:

Being Israel is such a drain on the US economy, gives us nothing in return but more headaches to solve, is in constant fear of being over run.

Why shouldn't Israel just move? I feel if the US tax payer has to fund this project of an Israeli state then why not move to a better location where there would be less of this squabbling. I have no problem with helping but when does it end? The tax payer is burdened by this and Israel does not have to pay back the majority of the money we send. Not to mention the country is not self sufficient which to me is a failed project anyways.

I would prefer to hear from pro-Israeli people. So they can explain to me what the US gets from this relationship.

(sorry if the question is blunt, but its also fair, Israel recieves more aid than Africa and we know what condition that country is in.)

My family are all Conservative Republicans. We do not have 1 liberal in the family (yay us)
My son married and independent and she is now a VERY conservative person. I think you just have to inform the smart ones and they'll "see the light" My daughter-in-law is a 4.0 college student.

Iraq has been such a hit I just thought I'd ask.

We also have 48 Million Americans with no health insurance, yet we pour about $213 Million dollars a WEEK down the drain in Iraq.Mispalced priorities?Hell no!That's the way it should be!See how immoral that really sounds?

Why is it that unless you ignore Bush's incompetence, you have "no morals and no brains" at all.

And to the off-the-wall hat-wearing conservatives, please stop with the childish, profane e-mail,unless you're man enough to say it in front of everyone, which you are usually not.

Can’t he just stop playing the ‘terra’ card as a political crutch and start concentrating on keeping America safe? 9/11 Commission already gave him low marks for keeping our airways and ports safe.

Isn’t he the same guy who glared at the CIA briefer and snapped, 'All right, you’ve covered your ***' on Aug. 6, 2001 and did nothing when the CIA tried to warn him that "Bin Laden was Determined to Strike in the U.S.?” It was his watch and he was responsible to protect the US Citizens, but he decided that his vacation was more important thus Bin Laden was successful on Sep. 11, 2001.
So why is he trying to act like a National Security hero now?

After seeing and experiencing Israel's reaction to two kidnapped soldiers are the countries in the ME not entitled to want to remove the threat to peace in their region? If we had such a country in the Americas wouldn't we want to obliterate them? After all JFK was prepared to wipe out Cuba if the Soviets planted Nukes in that country.

Just like 'court tv' spawned from the OJ trial, will the wars in the Middle East give birth to a 'terrorism channel'? My guess is that the republicans will have it in place by the next elections...
