i think it has alot to do with the way todays world is they dont know were they fit into it, they see all the pain and hurt we do to each other they get so lost in it that when someone comes along and tells them this is the best way, if they die forthere belifes they will have a better after life and they are also told its to help make the world better these men are lost and trained to think that way women tend to have a more logical way of thinking and an instince to protect what is around us like are young and the people we care about.

Because they are mostly very horny young men who have almost no access to women. Tell any testosterone laden young man that there is a big orgy full of virgins going on and how to get there then try stop him from going. Their families also encourage them because the martyrs (male or female) can bring their family to heaven with them. It is a great honor to blow yourself up for the cause.
BTW, College campuses are some of the best places to pick up recruits for Cults. Receiving a college education certainly does not preclude somebody from being brainwashed. I'd say that most college graduates have been brainwashed by left wing professors by graduation time. It takes about 5 years to wear off I think

It's for the same reason any person would do it, even a US citizen. Let's say that, in 10 years, the US economy has crumbled and we're in a bad way over here. Let's further say that China invades the US and conquers your home state. They're powerful, organized, and have a modern military and support structure. You have a few firearms and some household chemicals. Would you fight back against the invasion?
If the invaders used weapons that caused a boatload of "collateral damage" and it killed everyone in your family but you, how would you feel?
If you KNEW you could make a bomb, and KNEW you could carry it in person, say, into a barracks of invaders, and you KNEW that the only way you could be sure it would go off, rather than being found and disarmed, was to carry it in yourself and personally act as the trigger, would you be a "nut job" or would you be a hero trying to strike back at invaders who took his nation, destroyed his government, and killed his family?
You see, these people attaching bombs to themselves are not jus waking up one day and saying "you know, rather than going to the country club today, I think I'll strap this jug of home-made nitro to my back and run into that building, won't that be funny, ha ha." They are trying to repel people that have hurt them with the only tools they have available. Trust me, if, for example, the Iraqis that we call insurgents had 20 divisions of armored cav, a modern air force, and all the things being used against them, they'd do that rather than build IEDs or turn themselves into human claymore mines. They are fighting back in the only ways they can. They are primitive ways, and require a heck of a sacrifice, but again:
Think of your family face down in their own blood, killed by a nation that hurt you, and ask how far YOU could go to pay back those deaths.

Its not that they are brain washed. College grads with diplomas good lives ahead of themselves aren't the brainwashed type.
Not to mention the 9-11 people, one of them was a little league coach I heard. Im like how can you see those little kids and all be around all those innocent Americans and still carry out something like that?
The bottom line is that they believe in what they are doing. They honestly believe the US government is that "evil" entity. And they acted on their beliefs, no different than a person that runs from a black cat they REALLY believe its bad luck.
Or how a atheist looks at a christian praying every sunday.. saying "THEY REALLY BELIEVE THEY ARE TALKIN TO SOMEONE?"
Or a person who loves beacon when they laugh at the musliim whom doesnt eat pork.. its about beliefs
Or how American women look at the submissive culture around the world where the MAN leads and the WOMAN has 0 rights.
As a professor once told me..
Belief determines behavior.

Look at the suicide rate in this country. Statistically, a fraction of the population will kill themselves. Now if an individual was suicidal, but had also been taught about Jihad, and how they could go to heaven through suicide, that might sound like the way to go. Remember it doesn't take much. If 99.9% of Muslims were moderate and great, that would still leave over 1 million people trying to kill us.

well i can honestly say from experience that allot of arab men and young men/children are taught from a very young age to hate. I was in IRAQ, AFGHANISTAN,KAWAITT, and SAUDI deveral times, and i can say that allot of it has to do with their lifestyle, or even status in society. See in IRAQ, allot of the children and men do not attend school, and are basically taught by an EMOM(sorry for the spelling) or holyman, kinda like a priest who teaches them all they know about us and the rest of the world. Most families dont have TV or radios they cant read, and theses guys teach them all they know ( and since they cant read, they can tell them anything they want to when it comes to what is in the KORAN. Now try to imagine that you listen to this guy for all your information about basically everything. Also your elders will teach you what to like and dislike. The elders will tell these younger men and sometimes woman that what they will be doing is for the good of ALLAH, and that there families will be taken care of money wise for the rest of there lives( They love their wives and children very much and will do anything for them). If you notice that all of the bombers are young, because they are easily impressionable ya know. When they die for their cause which they are brainwashed into, they think they will go to a wonderful place, thanks to the brainwashing. They send their children to good schools to become better killers? I dont understand their culture. I could explain more but it would take a few more minutes and i am very busy right now

Not to support or justify their actions in any way, but merely to provide insight into their motivation, I suggest the following.
Life is full of frustration and struggle. Add in racism, oppression and humilitation (percieved or real) of your people, and then throw in a feeling of helplessness. Not a good place to be.
Now comes the catalyst--radical religious teachings that solve all of the forementioned problems, giving a feeling of noble purpose, power to make a difference, and a guaranteed place in heaven. It probably feels like a state of elevated being; a closeness to God; a warrior fighting the good fight for Gods chosen people. Suicide is easy when you have surrendered your ego to the greater good.
Unfortunately, it is impossible for real logic to work under these beliefs.
There have been many instances in history of people being led by unscrupulous, but charismatic people. We all want to believe in something, don't we? Just be careful how much of yourself you surrender to the cause.

They are willing to commit sucide because of their beliefs..they will strap themselves with bombs and blow themselves and innocent people up that are around them...It's not that they are just committing suicide, taking just their life....they are killing others and THAT is their main objective. So these are the people that we eventually will be dealing with here in the US...It will not be uncommon to hear of suicide bombers here at our malls, shopping centers, schools, hospitals etc...Scary, don't you think? but a reality.

If my country was being bombed and torn apart by an invading nation I would die for my family, I'm college age. You have to look at it from their perspective they are being massacred in their own countries by us they are trying to throw off the invaders.

Think what you want..... but most of them are Arabic.
Young men are prone to idealism.
They are also easily given to depression.
If you convince a young man that life will never be good - really convince him - he is likely to become violent and not really care if he survives.
