No. I think that she represents them quite well with her derogatory rhetoric and no substance.

Ann Coulter is helping the Republican Party. She works hard. Presents great history and facts with her arguments against the liberal agenda. She debates with skill and humor.

She is the female Rush Limbaugh, serving to polarize, not harmonize and is more interested in publicity & selling books than trying to pursuade anyone who doesn't already agree with her.
She could have made her point seem much more valid, (& I believe there was substance to it), by not phrasing it in such a vitriolic fashion.
So the answer is definitely more harm, as it gives people the impression that republicans are cold & incensitive to victims of 9-11

In a sane world Ann Coulter would offend and alarm everyone, thereby becoming a liability for any movement she identified with.
So hopefully the answer is yes.

Is there something wrong with her? You know, mentally?
She is really after the money and attention, and obviously isn't concerned about the damage that she does to the United States. The Republican Party will damage itself if it openly embraces her, but that "divide the nation and don't worry about having weakened it" strategy worked quite well for them in 2004.

Ultimately,I think so.Her shtick is shock value, not substance. It gets old after a while.
The right-wing of America will always be the bastion of moral and ethical hypocrisy. After the glitter fades, most people forget it and go
back to their Bill Maher shows and Jimmy Buffet concerts.

More harm
Its Republicans like her and others who constantly call the democrats petty names (such as "libtards" and "democraps") who keep me from even considering what the republicans have to say.
All I see from the Republicans is nothing but pure hatred towards liberals and democrats thanks to the likes of Coulter. So, no. She does more harm.
