Did you know that the majority of US Military Personnel still think that Iraq had something to do with 9/11. That is why he links everything to Iraq. He need support for his war. If you say something over and over and over again people will believe you. Its basic brain washing. Why do you think everything is so repetitive on the news every day is the same shi*. It doesn't matter if you watching show against the war or for the war. The brain washing part of it is the violence and fear.

I am very educated and well-read. I keep up on current events and read the entire newspaper and The Drudge Report each day.
When did GWB link the entire mid-east problem to just one country?
It is Muslims and they are all over the world. I would have to say Iran is the hot spot for terrorism right now, not Iraq (we took care of the problem there...next...)

Bush and his cronies have no clue. That are not smart enough to know that Iraq was a mistake from the start. Republicans also never admit to their own failures, never. Republicans love sending others off to fight and die and do their dirty work for them.
Republicans also want the working class to pay for that mistake in Iraq. The $2 trillion cost of the war in Iraq should be paid by them.
We have 19,000 wounded and 2598 dead Americans and Iraq is in civil war, no matter what we do Iran will control Iraq in the end.
Only a real Idiot would ever think a terrorist would face any Marine in a fair fight to the death. They do their dirty work behind our backs. BTW, it is a bare face lie that "we fight there" so we don't fight here", no one buys that. A terrorist is a coward, they would not even face the average American in a fair fight to the death, never.

I think in this context, the president is much like one of those managers or even senior level executives in a company who throw their stake into a particular pet project, and then try and remind everyone about it 24/7, even to the point of linking ridiculously unrelated issues to it.

The administration was well aware, very early on, that the colonization of Iraq would be a massive undertaking. So it makes political sense that they try and make Iraq their platform. Unfortunately, this strategy -- or suspension of reality, as I like to call it -- was one the American voters gulped down during our last election.
