For those of you who want "FACTS" and "FIGURES" and have the intellect to judge 'GOOD' from 'EVIL' and the courage to know and say out the TRUTH....for the rest you should stop here!

Ever since the United States Army massacred 300 Lakotas in 1890, American forces have intervened elsewhere around the globe 100 times. Indeed the United States has sent troops abroad or militarily struck other countries' territory 216 times since independence from Britain. Since 1945 the United States has intervened in more than 20 countries throughout the world.

Since World War II, the United States actually dropped BOMBS ON 23 COUNTRIES. These include: China 1945-46, Korea 1950-53, China 1950-53, Guatemala 1954, Indonesia 1958, Cuba 1959-60, Guatemala 1960, Congo 1964, Peru 1965, Laos 1964-73, Vietnam 1961-73, Cambodia 1969-70, Guatemala 1967-69, Grenada 1983, Lebanon 1984, Libya 1986, El Salvador 1980s, Nicaragua 1980s, Panama 1989, Iraq 1991-1999, Sudan 1998, Afghanistan 1998, and Yugoslavia 1999.

I'm sick of the supposed brilliance of rejecting the validity of statements because their sources and the organisations that provide them venues for expression aren't perfect, or don't match with ideologue's perspectives.

What does it mean to proclaim something as propaganda when many times it's apparent that proof of the propaganda either doesn't exist, or the evidence doesn't pertain to the issue at hand?

The tactic is so incredibly fallacious to me, that I believe its very use, seeming to stem from cynicism, borders on being unethical. From FNC to BBC, these venues are rejected, regardless of relevant evidence of distortion, by associations and stereotypes. Even if there's evidence or proof of patterns of distortion, any given statement's validity must be individually assessed. Without evidence to support a claim that a statement is invalid, any given source and venue must be called a propagandist; for without evidence, that capacity is resident in any source and venue.

"Until now there are 123 Israelis killed including 40 civilians and 861 lebanese mostly civilians..." source CNN.
well it makes something like 30% civillians killed on Israeli side by Hezbollah and more than 90% civillians killed in Lebannon by Israelis.
Your thoughts please?

Israel has attacked Lebanon unilaterally. It has used the excuse that “Hezbollah” had abducted two of its soldiers while there are thousands of Palestinians and Lebanese prisoners in Israeli jails. Israel has deliberately killed UNO observers without any fear of punishment from UNO and any other nation. Bush and Blair are fully supportive of Gross and State Israeli terrorism against the Christian and Muslim civilians of Lebanon. When Israel has attacked Lebanon, the question arises that where is the Lebanese army. Is it not fighting with Israeli army? Or all those who are fighting Israeli aggression is branded as Hezbollah so that Israel’s ally and agent Hezbollah gets credit and a picture of war is created and where Israel is portrayed as innocent & oppressed nation despite being the World’s number 1 Terrorist country. The Zionist terrorism encompasses all spheres of life including monetary terrorism, cultural ðical terrorism, judicial terrorism and medical and media terrorrism !!!!

I would think Britain would be doing their jobs anyway, ans so should Bush and crew. Thier being paid for it aren't they? Britain has the problem they need to solve with the Muslum community not America. Don't fly is the my answer to the problem, boycott it, and you wont put your self in that positon of criminals.

In the UK you are banned from wearing your hood up in shopping centers. I'm aware of the reason for this and its to fight crime and make suspects recognisable by having there face showing. , however whilst at a very large very busy shopping center last night, I seen a lot of muslims in there "bhurka" outfits (The ones where you can only see there eyes) surely in this day and age with the threat of terrorism these sort of dresswear should be banned also. It's political madness gone wrong.

In an earlier question today I asked whether the aims of the Israeli attack on Lebanon were political. Almost everyone who answered agreed they were. The answers came both from Israeli supporters and opponents. I asked the question because under the UK Terrorism Act 2000 terrorism is defined as the use of violence anywhere in the World to advance political ends. It is a crime in the UK to provide financial support or to glorify such terrorism. Thus if there are UK individuals or groups sending money or arms or other material support to Israel to assist in the attack on Lebanon this is a serious crime. Similarly if anyone is glorifying the Israeli terrorism this is also a serious crime.

If anyone can send me evidence to support such crimes I will collate it an lay complaints with the police.

I watched Woodstock with my 22 and 10 year old tonight. We had a discussion. It is funny.........the kids then felt adults did not understand. Now I don't understand. My kids do not have any political views. I have always been a activist. Is the climate of today just to be apathetic?

In this day and age we in America are dealing with a government that is .............this is not about politics......or maybe it is....kids today do not care. If they can't get a download, were sold a bogus dvd, had thier wages garnished for child support............they might protest.

These kids are not interested in the world ......just them!

I guess my real question is why we live in this society of " what happens happen!" In stead of , " I can make a difference!!"

I take the view that it was a diversionary tactic by Blair and Bush to take away attention from Israel. Just too convenient.

The BBC reported that since 9/11 over 900 people have been arrested on Terrorist Charges, less than 20 have been convicted in any form of terrorist related activity.
