It wouldn't surprise me.
A few years ago, who would have thought that the U.S. would invade Iraq, contrary to the U.N.'s stand on the issue?

I do think that Bush has a plan to invade Iran and Syria. The only question is that since he only has 30% support from the American ppl, how is he going to get support for this... the only way the American ppl will support such a move would be if Israel is in danger.

Why Not ??? There are those in Power who will find it profitable. It will provide an excuse to give citizenship to 'illegal immigrants,' it will justify keeping Geo W in power for one or two more terms, it will boost profits for the makers of munitions and other equipment plus there will be another country for Haliburton and other corporations to rebuild. Were you aware that for every amputee at least twelve medical types are guaranteed months maybe years of employment? Were you aware that Doctors who serve & survive a tour of Duty in a war zone can come back and quadruple their salary due to the experience they have gained. And what about Civic Pride? Iraq has provided dozens of communities dead heroes whose memories can be peddled to finance communitty centers & other 'worthy' structures & foundations. War is the New Economy - - - and quite frankly millions of Americans are O-K with that - - - and don't think it is simply because the War is Fought Way Over there. What might startle you is how many Americans would support War against Canada - - - yes, Canada - - fingers itching on the trigger - - - think back, was there anyone who argued against Bush when he launched the War against Iraq?

I think the question is kind of vague.
The way it's going to likely play out is through the Mideast conflict involving Israel. Iran will eventually do or support an attack on Israel to the point that it provokes Israel to attack them. That's what the Iranian radical clerics appear to be looking for - an excuse to go on the offensive.
So the way I see it is that Israel will be the ones to bring Iran into the picture "officially" (though they're already part of the problem). Then we'll be the ones to rush to Israel's side, essentially going to war with Iran. I don't see us ever finding a good excuse to invade Iran otherwise...

The US will not invade Iran any time soon.
How ever that does not dismiss a few well placed cruise missiles or a midnight run of the stealth if Iran does not behave like a civilized country.
This means being a good neighbor.

Yes, if they thought it would help them reach their goal which is getting more and more incomprehensible as each day passes. This is the "Peter and the Wolf" administration and they have brought this upon themselves. They lie and they hold back information and bring it to the forefront when they need a boost in the polls. They should be able to run the government honestly 24/7 not when it is convenient for them for them to look like heroes.

it wouldnt surprise me either! No doubt on that especially when it's Bush the one who lead the states! Just the way he invaded iraq! and look what happened to Afghanistan... it sounded at first as if he wanted to help but isnt it obvious..they're actually trying to control and rule the country! may be Iran would be next.....no offence but it's what the world are beginning to realize and see...
he just want the power over other countries..so that no one will be ahead of them... people over the world actually dont have problems with americans..they're just like others... innocent people..and they;re also friends...but those leaders are manipulating the whole thing... when powerful people want to maintain his power over others..they are willing to do anything to keep those powers....
+ USA also create their own Nuclear power as well..but we're being blinded by their accusation on other countries like iran or korea..because..they dont want other countries to have the same power as they do....they're the one who are forcing other countries to create and use it.....

No ..... too many trpoops on the boarder of Iraq and too much ground to cover , USA is bogged down in iraq and afganistan . You see, IRan has chemical weapons already casue USA gave them to Iran in the days of the shah,
this is why usa knows .. they gave them to Iran in 1975 to help defeat russia and help the Afganis in the soviet war in 1979 80

i don't think of we would want to continually invade Iran. we've our fingers finished already. I, absolutely, imagine we would want to continually stand with the aid of Israel and help them by any ability we may be able to. God blesses the persons who pay attention of his chosen human beings and Holy Land. he will do back what ever anybody does to Israel. that is the Apple of his Eye. If we stand idly with the aid of and watch Israel get destroyed, then we will be next. believe it.

If Israel weakens Hezbollah, the answer would be no. Otherwise, the only thing the U.S. would have in mind is destroy Iran's nuclear facilities without any ground troops.

I think we will but not any time soon. We need to recover and keep handling our "business" in Iraq and still deal with national security.
