For ex. even if America know that Pakistan is fertile soil for terrorist and its been supporting terrorist against india and Afganistan, and even their nuclear technology sold to Iran which it hates(the biggest terrorist act till now)why American mum about this ....only because Pakistaan doing what America wants or just to keep India under tension and keep its growing economy under control of America?

Not recognising the Palestinian cause?
The $3BN in aid to the Israeli military?

Hezbollah, a terrorist faction - Reality they are freedom fighters to rid Israel from Lebanon in the 1982 invasion...if terrorism is stated as "Illegal act of war" Then what is the Israeli occupation of Palestine since 1948 and Lebanon 2006....does that make Israel a terror state along with North Korea?

What personal experience do you have with other cultures? You get 72 years on earth, then what will you pass on to your kids. Do you expect to be poor your whole life? Rich? Do you eat McDonald on vacation or try something new? Think anyone else has it better?/Worse. Can Knowledge help you, or must you win a lottery. Will you be a better person rich?/Poor? The conflict was simply an envasion from the North and not a "civil war". The South did not want to control the central government. All they wanted to do was seperate from the North. It still seems that the South is still for states rights while the North is still in favor of a powerful central government. What's your view on this? I personally think that our central government should be used for defense only. Give the power back to the states.

Regardless of how petty it was, he swore to tell the truth under oath and he lied. Why didn't he plead the 5th and save himself the hassle? Is it OK for people to lie in court as long as it is a white lie? I'm not upset with Clinton about what he did with an intern, but I expect the President to tell the truth under oath. Please don't give me the Bush crap because if it is proven that he lied, then I'm all for impeaching him. First you have to prove it by law and not in the court of public opinion.

Why?

- The city sits way below sea level.
- Sea Levels are rising.
- The city sinks 1 inch a year.
- The unnatural run off of fresh water is depleting the swamplands.


I say buy the land back.. bull doze most of it.. keep the historical sites and the ports.. and leave it be.. use the money in an area where it wont sink.....
