Of course! At the rate of immigrants climbing on top level managerial and executive positions plus on the medical fields, America will be run and influenced by mostly immigrants. This will really change the face of America as being the world leader or the big brother.
Naturally, the possibility is great, its power will be streamlined to immigrants. However, this is what you call the effect of globalization, the influx of interracial generation wherein everybody in this world is interconnected one way or the other to each one of us.
It would be the creation of the real "world power" wherein everyone from North, East, South And West participate in the making of this Earth a better place to live in and where unity from all parts of the world is possible.

Certainly, there will be plenty of international rivalries over the next 20 years. Competition for scarce energy and other raw materials could pitch China, the US and other countries against each other. US Defence Secretary, Donald Rumsfeld, expressed concern at the size of China’s military spending in June 2005, when global oil supplies were tight.

The USA will continue to dominate. The Europeans are useless and lazy; they have no direction, no reason to fight the coming Islamofascist invasion. They are weaklings who will fold quickly.

The only real competition is from the Chinese. They have a country of strong, intelligent and hardworking people who could threaten US dominance.

The biggest enemy to China is China. They will never get over their desire to control their population. Without the contributions of the common man China will not be able to compete. It is an inescapable fact

I think yes, to my perspective, US is in the verge of losing its supports from the middle eastern countries. Which is very vital to US economy and security. Involving itself in the forefront of too many wars, US can find a lot of enemy, as defiant as Iran, North Korea and Venezuela among other groups like the terror organizations There might become a unity among these groups and twenty years of continued questionable foreign policy just might be enough to fuel a nuclear war in which US is not sure to win, with threats from all fronts.

I take it you mean 'not be the world's number 1 industrialized nation', or something like that, rather than "lose world power" (?). The answer is most likely, yes; and a good thing too.

There needs to be a balanced group of similarly strong economies near the top to prevent any schoolyard bullies evolving.

Checks and balances should always be welcome.

Yeah our "decider" does not put a high value on public education and just does not like to fund it. Then we have masses of people who are un educated. It is easier for him to just send his kids to private school than to find education for ordinary citizens. It is a cruel thing and will lead to our demise. Our educational system is going down the drain in the US and others will pass us by. It started way before GW he is only making a sharper contrast between rich and poor and helping degrade the middle class.
