have a problem with the government of Israel, yes, and they are terrorizing everyone in the Middle-east, and provoking moderate Muslims with their tactics, which is their military and political plan. I am talking about the leadership of the Israeli government.

The citizens of the ******* State of Israel and the illegal settlers, are being used as pawns by the leadership of Israel, as are the Palestinian and Lebanese people being used by governmental leaders of all Nations of the Middle-east.

Hizbullah and Hamas are the same as Israeli forces carrying out military operations and providing protection for their people,remember, one person's terrorist is another person's freedom-fighter.

Hizbullah and Hamas also provide rebuilding and food, water, and school for their people .

It seems to me that the Conservatives (my self included) and the Liberals gather up into our camps and then spend a lot of time taking pot shots at each other. I won't say that I am not guilty of this I have done it on many occasions. Is there a way that people of opposing views can get together lest we wind up like Israel and Palestine?

Israeli regime has targeted children and innocent civilians. They werent defending themselves because killing children on a mass scale of genocide and flattening a country does not justify the blood on their hands. Since they murdered for political reasons that would classify them as terrorists.

Thats like saying if Canada kidnapped 2 american soldiers that america would respond by murdering innocent Canadian cilvians and children on a mass scale and destroy Canada.

Come on... Chomsky is a brilliant linguist and straight up genius when it comes to history of the world. He know his stuff and he knows the ins and outs of propoganda. Plus, he seems to be an honest man and I trust him. His views seem to be rather moderate in some areas, conservative in others, and slightly liberal elsewhere. To me he represents that views and preferences of America much better than most "players" in the political world.

Hunter S. Thompson offers a serious trip to the other side of the spectrum that would really balance out the ticket. He is a saavy and crude thinker who has a way of winning people over and not to mention he knows drugs and had some serious wait internationally(knew Castro, had been a guest of honor). I know HST was a liberal in most cases(especially on the domestic front) and recognized the Constitution and Bill of Rights as the backbone of our society... not currency.

Why is it that all I see in the world is a bunch of Islamic wackos who want to kill or destroy everyone or everything that is not directly related to Islam. Yet no one will call a spade a spade. It appears to me that no Muslim wants real peace in the middle east, they only want Israel and the United States destroyed. So have I got this right

If the conspiracy theory is correct (9/11 etc) then we have a ruthless dictator in charge of a world super power and it's only a matter of time before the true colours of it will all come to pass.
We are months away from another nazis world power this time allied with Israel.

If the government is telling us the truth or even if it's telling us 75% of the truth we have a hard core group of Islamic fundementalists trying to get and deploy nukes or any other sort of explosive into our nation to kill us all and the stats say that there is anywhere from a 29-50 % chance they will do it in the next few years or months.

Is that really how is breaks down - is there an ption C out there .

Islam is the farthest right any human can go. Take any issue and Muslims represent the extreme end of the right, yet leftists apologize for Islamists based on a "enemy of enemy" theory.

My experience is, when a leftist is well educated about Islam, they will have more contempt for it than a jew whose had his whole family killed by islamists.

I encourage all leftists to study Islam in depth...you will rue the day you uttered a single word of apology for it.
