It is quite apparent that Israeli attacks on the Lebanon are not intended to deal with Hezbullah or terrorism.
The reason being that these kind of tactics encourage and aid terrorism. Attacking a neighbouring country, a country within rocket distance, and making people who didn't hate you start to, only provides terrorists with new recruits. Bombing civilian areas only kills civilians. Guerrila tactics, such as terrorists use, have been shown time and again to be mobile enough and resilient enough to resist modern warfare tactics - think Vietnam or the USSR in Afghanistan (or come to that the Insurgents in Iraq). Think about it - terrorists can fire a rocket and up and leave the area. Civilians can't do so as easily.
Israel's policy can only have three explanations. Senseless murder, propaganda (to show the state of Israel is doing something against its attackers) or just plain old stupidity. Any of those three explanations does not provide a justification for killing children.
Israel is wrong. Simple as that.

Hezbullah are criminals that should have been taken out by the Lebanese and Syria but they are looked on as heros. It is not just the two kidnapped soldiers that were the problem. That was just the tipping point.
The Lebanese people did nothing to control their territory while these crimminals took control.
Everyone is sitting back watching because Israel has the right to defend themselves. The blood of the innocents is on the hands of Hezbullah. Hiding behing women and children. What cowards!

You're not too bias are you, lol? Don't forget that Hezbollah is not innocent when it comes to killing children. And yes, I don believe this whole crisis was started over the actions of Hezbollah. They just didn't think Israel would actually fight back as hard as they have. For too long people have been calling for the destruction of an Israeli state, but now Israel is calling for the destruction of Hezbollah. If Hezbollah did not want such a response, they should have just stayed in Lebanon and waited. It would not have been long before something would have made this all come to pass, but since they made the first move, they need to be destroyed.

Is anyone else SO TIRED of this argument? Why can't the people of the Middle East solve their own problems? Why does the UN and NATO have to step in with special international forces to prevent you people from killing each other? The rest of the world is waiting for the Middle East to get their acts together already! I'm an American and I don't care whether you all want to wipe each other out. I'm just concerned when rogue freak organizations feel the need to annihilate Christians, Jews, and anyone else on the planet who doesn't agree with the Koran. Stop killing people! Live and let live! No one wants to die, don't you get that? We all want to live in a peaceful world. Why does anyone need to live in the fear that some freak terrorists are going to kill innocent citizens because of their crazy ideology that has nothing to do with them? Lebanon and Israel need to work together to expel nasty terrorists, so that everyone can be safe. Hey, Lebanon, stop supporting terrorism and then you can live in peace!

Why should a country that has fought for its very existence be called a terrorist state? The constant threat by neighbors, the jihad...the open condemnation of Israel by most if not all of the Arab nations would drive anyone to be a "terrorist" state. The difference is that your side (assuming you to be taking the Muslim side) is on the offensive and the Israeli side is on the defensive. When they decided to opt for some offense they're suddenly terrorists?
Indulge me for a moment...If you look at your side...When was the last time any Arab nation made any concession to the Palestinian people? In fact when they initially decided to leave Israel for the surrounding countries they were treated as REFUGEES and not as Arab brothers. Yet all good Muslims incessantly fight for them to have a state...What concessions are your people willing to make so that they can have one? Why is it that you insist that Israel always be the ONLY ONE making any concessions? I really suggest you look withing your own community for this great contradiction before labeling Israel terrorist...After all you treated your own like the sand of the desert. May Allah (Peace & Good Will Be Upon Him) Bless You) PEACE!

It is very awful but vanishing a state is not the solution, it is an extremist solution.
They have had the same issue during centuries and centuries. No matter if you vanish them, the conflict will be always there because there are jews around world, jews who will fight for having a land.
Only God knows which is the solution to this killing. One state does something, the other responds, and like that over and over. This will continue alllllllllllllllllllll world life.

No, it was because they entered their country, and killed 6 soldiers....an act of war.....not to mention numerous other invasions into Israel.....and also I am sure the fact thay have stated they wanted to kill all Jews probably had something to do with it......and they are killing children because that is where Hezbollah hides....have you not seem the videos of Israel taking out the missile launchers? they are set up in neighborhoods....Israel has never been an aggressor in any conflict they have been in....now, where are the facts that will back up your accusations? I have given facts, and if YU would like, be happy to hunt down the reports, even from the UN that will back what I have said.....can you do the same?

Israel would not be at war with Lebanon if the soldiers were not kidnapped. Would you agree?
The problem is that the Lebanese government has too long allowed Hezbollah to run it's terrorist oraganization in their borders, and it is now out of control. Hezbollah is using innocent people to facilitate terrorist operations - and the Lebanese government is too entrenched to stop this horrendous situation.
Israel has two complete justifications to defend themselves 1) the kidnapping of the soldiers and 2) The eradication of a terrorist group at their border that wants them destroyed for no other reason than their presence and difference of religious beliefs.
