Seems like I hear about Dubyuh talking to his "higher" Father- so whats he telling him? Is he sure it's really "God" he's got on the line? Maybe it's his weapons lobbyist?

More people died in Iraq last week than Lebenon- of course it's not on you local news (why not?), but it's true.
=)

I'm sure it does, but even the Bible supports taking an agressive posture for defense. Moses, graced with power from God, enclosed the Red Sea on his pursuers, engulfing them to their deaths. David, also with divine intervention, slew (that means 'kill' in case you were wondering) Goliath.

Glad you asked so I am able to clear this up for everyone. So many liberals want to believe this commandment means we gotta be some tyrants patsy and let them run all over good people!

The more proper version of the quote is "Thou shalt not commit murder". But the quote is from the Old Testament, which recounts the slaughter of thousands of innocent people, so it must be taken with more than one grain of salt.
Most of the people who died in Iraq last week (or month, or year) were killed by other Iraqis or by people from Syria, Iran, or other neighboring countries.

Yes - it's a critical part of the American Philosophy. That's why we are in Iraq - to prevent militia groups from killing innocents. It's why we need to go in stronger - killing 200 militia now save 1000 lives from sectarian violence.

On the average, the death rate in Iraq is much lower than under Saddam Hussein. But now that Iraq has fewer press restrictions, it is being reported now.

The US action in Iraq has saved hundreds of thousands of lives by killing thousands. I believe that's OK.

Wow, you just like to take things out of context. Do you think Bush really wants people dying? Seriously, use some common sense. He doesn't want people dying at all, but unfortunately you sometimes have to have people die to protect freedom. Why don't you get out there on the lines and fight a bit so you can see the way the world really works.

Give us some evidence, not just your word.....and then explain why you ask that only of Bush.....why not ask about the shiites, sunnis, hezbollah, Hamas, Syria, Bin Laden, etc, etc.......Obviously you only care about degrading Bush.....there are leaders and terrorists all over the world that have killed many more than what you accuse Bush of doing.....and for the last time...90% or more that die in Iraq was not by our hand.....so why don't you give it a break, and either learn what you speak of, or give us the evidence you are going by.....and don't make it moveon.org, soros, or any of the far left blogs.....get good, solid evidence, to back what you accuse

Hello? Better read the bible because even God killed people during wars. War is not a Thou Shall Not Kill moment.

Join the army and lets hear your opinion when you get back home.

Islamo-facists are not human beings, they are nothing but animals..... by choice.
They leave no choice for those they attack, except "KILL or be KILLED".

If you are concerned about gods, ask why 'allah'/mohammed commanded his people to slaughter all the Jews who fall into your hands. Wonder what kind of people follow a religion like that. They certainly have no love for anyone, not even themselves.....

The proper translation is "Thou shalt not Murder". If you read the Bible you will see that God told people to kill quite often. God also mandates capital punsihment.

They don't tell us everything ,what we are told is only after a good spin is put on it
Bush only panders to the religious right ,his past can show you he is being a hypocrite .He doesn't talk to God its the little voices in his head that keep answering ,telling him what to do .

Of course it does, what a silly statement to make. Have you thought that perhaps it means nothing to the insurgents who are killing all the innocent people? Its been in our news. We are not blind nor stupid. We know who's doing what.
