they have to make sexual comments about her. I disagree with Heidi all the time but I never felt the need to attack her as a woman. This kind of talk is disgraceful.

Doesn't have to specifically label him / herself as a political philosopher - one could include, for instance, Kerouac. However, it'd be great to have an explanation of your reasoning if you go with a less obvious choice.

Hopefully in the near future, why will the GOP collapse? Right wing fundies? Hypocricy? Unsound economic policies? Failed wars? Why?

get free birth control, abortions, and tax breaks for NOT having children? If that doesn't make sense to you, then maybe a woman's ability to have children isn't the reason for paying them less.

"NO ONE IS DISPUTES ISRAEL'S RIGHT TO DEFEND ITSELF, BUT IT CAUSED AND IS CAUSING DEATH AND SUFFERING ON A WHOLLY UNACCEPTABLE SCALE"
~UN secretary-General Kofi Annan~

Now, my opinion, I think that Israel should start looking for peace and just live the lives or if they keep bombing lebanon, they will get what they are looking for! Israel is making America look even worse than before.... if israel dont listen to us than will should not defend it... we should let the middle eat them alive.... thats what will happen if they dont start for peace and justice.........

So far Israel has killed about 500 to 600 Hizbulla terrorists! I think they should continue, don't you?
Of course, the liberal TV media doesn't tell you how badly the Hamas /Hizzbulla are gettiing crushed .....
The liberals certainly don't want you rejoicing over Israel's great victory here. However, it ought to be obvious...why do you think the Muslim leaders are all crying for a cease fire!??

Don't listen to them Israel...keep it up!

its not the drugs fault when someone abuses it. its the persons. i have no problem doing drugs and maintaining my schooling and work. yeah its an excape but sometimes you need one. and if you cant afford a plane ticket to the bahamas (250$) buy a hit of acid (10$ for a double) and youll be in the bahamas. moderation is key. just becuase a few people abuse it ruins it for everyone else. i know many kids who do drugs and they are perfectly functional beings in society. hell man my parents did drugs and they grew up fine, family and all. so i say stop hatin on drugs and those who use drugs.. stop hatin at all. those that hate have no understanding of what they are talking about. you hafta do a drug in order to understand it not learn it in dare or from your parents.

I am starting to think that the majority of political polls are rigged. So many of them always end up neck and neck, or too close to call. I don't think people are split 50-50 in their opinions as often as the media seems to portray them. I think the media rigs the polls to be 50-50, neck and neck because it is "more exciting" and "suspensful" to have a tight race and it is easier to rig the elections.

As the rape of Lebanon proceeds on schedule, the "civilized world" rushes to give its imprimatur to the slaughter. The U.S. and France are sponsoring a United Nations resolution that neither calls for a cease-fire nor demands the withdrawal of invading Israeli troops. So much for the UN as the last, best hope for peace.

Is there a chance my liberal friends, who have long looked to the organization founded by Alger Hiss and Franklin "He Lied Us Into War" Roosevelt as a beacon of hope, will wake up and smell the burned bodies?

Nah.

Most of them are looking the other way as the Israelis ravage Lebanon – or are openly cheerleading the mayhem, like San Francisco Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi – and are on vacation, anyway, sitting on a beach somewhere with their consciences conveniently deactivated.

how do you all feel about welfare, the healthcare system? what about illegal immigrants, minimum wage, big businesses? personally i believe in affordable healthcare where EVERYONE can afford some coverage yet they are still paying some amount so that doctors can still get paid a decent salary AND with the extra cash build more hospitals. illegal immigrants im perfectly ok with to some extent. mainly becuase they are the only ones rebuilding New Orleans right now (where i live). i like bush's idea on govt. work papers. minimum wage (in my oppinion) ties in with big businesses and outsourcing. cut outsourcing and there would be no need to raise minimum wage due to the extra income this nation as a whole would have, thus lowering prices for each individual. if you raise minimum wage now it gives companies a reason to switch to technology or outsourcing and less manual labor.
