and your family was at risk of being killed, would you take up arms to protect them or just be killed and let them be killed willingly? Just curious.

cavinue, I ask it in the hopes of making the American people realize what they are so stongly opposed to, people fighting for their lives, when most of us would do the same. This is a basic human right and instict, to protect yourself and the ones you love. Why is it not allowed for the Lebanese and Palestinians? That is why I ask.

fanofdale, I will respond. If I were an Israeli I would do all I could to protest my violent terrorist government. Most Israelis that I know personally were there before 1948 and are true Palestinians. They protest aling side Palestinians and try to protect Palestinians kids on the way to school as Israeli settlers kick them and throw stones. I would be ashamed to be a citizen of Israel.

Ethan....Hezbollah is not responsible for the trapped people in Lebanon. Israeli forces bombed all bridges, roads, airports and continues to bomb moving vehicles. Where do you get your info???

Paul, so these little kids are terrorists to? The Christian Lebanese are terrorists? ALL Muslim families are terrorists? Wow, you are the perfect example of the great PR campaign of Israel and American media propaganda. Would you jump off of a bridge if they announced it was the thing to do?

Take up arms.

And what is so bad is that they have no way to get out. I saw on the news yesterday that Israel destroyed the last bridge out of Lebanon. They are literally trapped now.

I don't think that the Hezbollah are Lebanese citizens. They are terrorists who hide behind Lebanese citizens. So, when the Israelis attempt to quell the terrorists, some ordinary citizens will necessarily be killed.

As for the Palestinians, they elected Hamas, which is a terrorist group. Hamas continues to terrorize Israel. Israel is retaliating and, in the chaos, some innocent Palestinians will necessarily be killed.

I guarantee you that if Hamas and Hezbollah agreed to a cease fire and lived up to it, Israel would not kill another citizen of Lebanon or Palestine.

However, Hezbollah and Hamas just use cease fires to replenish their weapons and supplies, then strike again until they are beaten back. Then, they ask for another cease fire.

Israel is tired of it. They won't stop now until both groups are destroyed.

So, we'll have war in the Middle East until the end of time or until moderate Islamic leaders decide that it is fruitless to attempt to take over the world and inflict their dogma on all of the nations of the world.

A) I wouldn't live in a country that welcomes terrorist organizations like Hezbollah to live among the people, because it just brings destruction to the innocent citizens.
B) Of course I would defend my family whatever it takes.
C) Against the US-funded Israeli army (with an extremist Govt), those poor people don't have a prayer.

You mean should family member of terrorists help to protect them? I think they should and that is why they should be bombed as well.

Answer this question. Should family members and friends of Israeli soldiers who were killed and kidnapped not take up arms to demand for their return and punish their killers?

If family members of a murder harbor the murder while he is on the run then yes, they are criminals as well, just not murder. This is the law anywhere.

I think I would take the third option here. . .Leave. Oh yeah I forgot Hezbollah (being the gentlemen that they are) are not letting civilians leave. How nice of them. Maybe we should give Shake Nasrallah the Nobel Peace Prize.

sure. This American's opinion is that if "Palestine" and Hezbollah might supply up murdering and kidnapping human beings for game, we does not might desire to help Israel's protecting itself. it quite is sorta like asking "why do I help the guy who beat up a guy who grew to become into raping his spouse?" it quite is a no brainer.
