I will forego the 10 points to say Thatcher was a biatch that ruined this country for anyone without money or status. Her name cannot be mentioned without bile coming to my throat. What she did to the miners and their families was deplorable. She brought unemployment to the now deprived areas and now people wonder why kids in the Valleys wander around aimlessly? This country is suffering her legacy still with the "me first" culture. Evil witch

Bring back Maggie!
To cure the British disease with socialism was like trying to cure leukaemia with leeches.
Margaret Thatcher
To wear your heart on your sleeve isn't a very good plan; you should wear it inside, where it functions best.
Margaret Thatcher
Unless we change our ways and our direction, our greatness as a nation will soon be a footnote in the history books, a distant memory of an offshore island, lost in the mists of time like Camelot, remembered kindly for its noble past.

Agree. You are a person of the utmost perspicacity and honour. The only trouble with Saint Margaret was that she did not go far enough. As soon as she had sorted out the miners she should have cleared out the civil service and town halls across the country. Think of the numbers of workshy wassocks and wallies she could have eliminated.

I think Europe was blessed during her time in office. She has high grade steel in her character.

She would probably put the hammer on the Islamo-facists in England.... no nonsense while going about it either.

Easter Island might be her pick for deporting all Islamo-facist terrorists to, a very nice barren island with little resources.... then they could fight and eat each other. Or, if that is too harsh, give them pigs to raise for food and clothing. Yummy.

She was fantastic. A very clever lady who stood no nonsense.Unfortunately for this country there will never be another Iron Lady. We have to put up with Teflon Tony and his Cronies who are slowly bringing this country to its knees in every way, shape and form. He will beat the crap out of this country then he and his money grabbing wife will ride off into the sunset to a far off land to spend all the millions they have stashed away.

Blessed in those days? Yea your right she did just a superb job of using diplomacy to curb all the violence, suicide bombers and terrorists that occurs in the ME. After all there was no violence or attacks on innocents after she finished - and it is still lasting today right? Just ask the Lebanese how good she was.

Her lot destroyed community spirit, turned everyone against each other. created the welth gap, turned people greedy and immoral, destroyed community and started the destruction of the NHS etc etc etc... and tony kisses her but hence the problems now... Before her there was job security now there is none and backstabbing office politics replaces unions solidarity
