Why does the Prime Minister of Lebanon reject the peace proposal suggested by US? Please give me a sensible question.. if not then pls do not waste our time.

Because the peace proposal fall short for peace. The news states that it is a peace proposal.. but as u know.. the US and the Israeli never did want this invasion to end. In the peace proposal.. it is all for the Israelis and nothing for the Lebanese. In this proposal, the Israelis still have the right to remain in Lebanon. More than 25 000 our their troops. What Lebanon want is an immediate ceasefire and that Israeli troops get out of Lebanese borders.. I believe that is a more sensible approach. As for this proposal, the Israeli would agree with a ceasefire only when the international peacekeeping forces are deployed.. and that would take many weeks. And that the Israeli soldiers are still allowed to remain at the Lebanese land until they come. It is considered a peace proposal.. but yet fall short of anything that would benefit the Lebanese side. How could any politician especially the Prime Minister of Lebanon accept such proposal. It is like kneeling down to the Israel and agree to this invasion as a justified action and Israel as the rightful force inside Lebanon itself. It is a humiliation of the highest level for the Lebanese ppl and government. Not only will the prime minister wont accept this.. im sure every Lebanese would not accept this.

Lebanon has psudo soverighnity and it is not possible to take any suitable decission for their own, the rejection was the consensus of the Muslim countries meetings. Terrorists are controlling the Lebanon, hence they will not come to peace until they are terrorists which has been encouraged by the religion and its support (losing its support). In some countries muslims citizens have been lost their popularity.

They don't want peace. They want to be seen as the victim. Everyone likes to be the victim. By allowing the bloodshed to continue the Lebanese government can get sympathy and incentives from other Arab countries. Sadly this is making Lebanon stronger. They are a tiny country with nothing to offer. But it is on the lips of everyone.
Sympathy is our biggest weakness, and they are playing on it.

Because it has nothing to do with peace, the issue is if it is agreed on this proposal then all the sacrifices will be for nothing. Did u read wut is the proposal it gives Israel the right to do wut ever they want whenever they want. Israel failed to achieve anything on the border so they want them to win in the political agreement. It's really not good for Lebanon at all plus Israel doesn't get committed to any rules or agreements so we should have an agreement that guarantees our rights, that's it the current agreement will have a bad impact on Lebanon

It is called (peace proposal) but names don't matter
It is nothing but permission to Israel to continue destroying Lebanon and a chance for Israel to acheive political victory instead of military defeat. practically It will allow Israel to remain in the Lebanese south and doesn't prevent Israel from resuming attacks in Lebanon at any moment.

they didn't totally rejected it, but they are against some points. the main problems is that the UN proposal,allow the Israeli soldiers to remain in the Lebanese land till the coming of the UN soldiers, while the Lebanese government wants to send their own soldiers waiting the UN, while the Israeli go home.they consider the Israeli as occupants.

'Cos it does not ask Israel to withdraw from Lebanon after the cease fire..So the Israeli army wants to stay in Lebanon until the multinational force arrives...With other words they can occupy southern Lebanon...so I can understand why the Lebanese PM rejected it...
