In the UK you are banned from wearing your hood up in shopping centers. I'm aware of the reason for this and its to fight crime and make suspects recognisable by having there face showing. , however whilst at a very large very busy shopping center last night, I seen a lot of muslims in there "bhurka" outfits (The ones where you can only see there eyes) surely in this day and age with the threat of terrorism these sort of dresswear should be banned also. It's political madness gone wrong.

Yes. This sort of preferential treatment jeopardizes the public safety. In matters of public safety there should not be any concession to any group in a democracy. Unfortunately, we learn from mistakes and we are not proactive in anticipating the loop-holes.

No it's not PC gone mad. I've never heard of someone wearing a Bhurka be...

a) Anti social by drinking (underage usually) around my local shop hurling abuse as young families walk past
b) Break into my car and nick all my stuff
c) Be involved in petty crime
d) Use (smoking hash) drugs in public
e) Fight with each other when there is no member of the public to harras
f) Carry a knife
g) Have no respect for themselves
h) Have no respect for others
i) Commit anti-social behaviour as a matter of course

I'm sure there are some Bhurka wearing people who have in the past (and will continue to do so in the future) done all of the above but it's the hoodies which IMO pose a bigger threat to one's security and safety than a Bhurka wearer. Besides, if I was gonna blow something up then I'd try and blend in as much as possible so as not to be noticed. Wearing this type of attire as you point out, is very visible.

Not all hoodies are the same and I'm sure there are some nice 'hoodiers' out there but unfortunatley...mud sticks and 99.99% of the worlds population are willing to tarnish everyone in a group, that they know little or nothing about, with the same brush.

I can understand the "hood rule" and if that affects your religion then you have to go with the masses for the citizens and adjust. I think it is morally unjust for people to have to do that but they have to make a choice either adapt or stay at home. The common good is more important in this case. I smoke cigarettes and have had to make many changes over the years. I may not like it but the law is the law.

Yes but- wearing your hoodie- is not a religion is it!!!??!
I do get worried when i see a gang all wearing them, but i am wary of people who wear 'bhurka outfits too- ( but that's because of whats happening in the world 2day-otherwise i never did b4).
I do think though, that the outfits where only your eyes are seen, should not be allowed for driving- it just does'nt look safe...but i've never worn one-so obviously i could be wrong.

You are totally right! Thank god for people like you, brave enough to stand up and have a mind of their own and not full of political correctiveness b***s***! I have a child who goes to school and in the morning a woman of a certain ethnic origin stands and openly spits in the playground, and I mean deep throat gobs! What the hell is that about, they may do it over there but not here thanks v.much!!

all of it boils right down to funds. those in value do not opt to be confronted with a hefty bill at the same time as keen attorneys convince those human beings to convey an action previously the european courtroom of Human Rights. it is so less intense priced and easier to recoil and apologise! funds makes the international go round....

You hit the nail on the head. They are the terrorist people and they have a different set of laws to us. Why would people want to be in this religon anyway, to me it is weird and they dress like yesterdays people, hoodies and baseball caps and the in thing, I wear hoodies in the winter and caps in the summer, there is nothing wrong with that.

Religion is a very sensitive issue. Muslims are very volatile by virtue of their religious leanings
