If not, if you dont mind answering, what do you think would increase numbers at the polls?

I'm not talking here concerning today's breaking news but rather the disproportionate number of Scottish socialists in Westminster. I've just been listening to two Labour spokesmen spouting about today's events and, of course, both were Scots, namely Reid and Alexander. No doubt Blair, Brown etc will be getting their oars in later. Even as a wholly patriotic Scot I'm beginning to think too much is too much.

Many liberals appear not to take the wider, global battle against Islamic fanaticism seriously. They see Iraq purely as a symptom of a cynical and politicized right-wing response to Sept. 11, as opposed to a tragic misstep in a bigger conflict.

In fact, JIHAD has been waged against the West since Muhammad died only 1,400 years ago.

Saudi Arabia and Pakistan don't like the methods of Al Qaeda because they prefer the strategic long-term tactic of INVASION BY IMMIGRATION.

In 1968, liberals refused to acknowledge the Communist threat. Today, recent events point to the growing influence within the Left that is unmoved by the fight against global jihad.

ONLY WHEN THE LEFT AND THE LIBERAL MEDIA REALIZE THAT WESTERN COUNTRIES ARE AT RISK OF JIHAD WILL THE FIGHT FINALLY BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY.

The Shia moment on the world stage is being born in fire, fanaticism and apocalyptic terror. Because the rise of the Shia cannot at this point be suppressed, the United States had better figure out how to manage it.

The Shia have been a despised and persecuted minority within Islam since virtually the beginning (the separation between Shia and Sunni originated in a dispute over the rightful successor of the Prophet). Ethnically Persian Iran has always been Shia, but in the neighboring Arab world, the Sunnis have always run the show.

Now, for the first time, a Shia-run Arab state exists, thanks to the U.S. military. Confounding Washington's expectations, Iraq's Shia majority has put its religious identity ahead of its national and ethnic identification and embraced Iran.

(Iraq was the right idea but the wrong move. Instead of going to war in their countries, it is safer and cheaper to kick them out of ours).

We the americans ( not including the treasonous bush administration or the republicans ) are sorry for the actions of the republicans and their president. Were sorry for all the innocents that our illegal government has killed.
Please dont blame or hold the rest of us accountable for the insidious actions of our illegal president.
Most of us ( especially the ones that didnt vote for him) do not agree with his actions and want him to pull our troops out and not to invad any more of your countries.
But our cries fall on the deaf ears of a president that cares less about the american people than he cares for your people.
