No. They mainly use talk shows to get their news across. All of their talk show hosts are BLATANTLY conservative. I've never seen any liberal viewpoints on fox so I don't know what these answerers are talking about. Not to mention the majority of regular fox viewers still think Saddam had wmd's and was in cahoots w/Al qaeda. Both have been proven to be false numerous, numerous times. Fox news is, at best, misleading.

Depends on "Fair and Balanced", and what you think that means. They give everyone their say, which is more than I can say for most of the other news networks. Every reporter puts their own slant a story however, and that happens from local news to national news. Fox News is 80% better than CNN, MSNBC, and the others because they let everyone have their say and a lot of times they leave it at that. They grill both left and right wing politicians, so nobody gets a free pass you defend what you believe in and they usually leave it up to the public to decide.

It's not the job of the media to be "fair and balanced" , it's your job to read or view different forms of media ,so you can form a balanced, and informed opinion .

I suppose it all depends upon your interpretation of "fair and balanced." To me, that means each side of every story is presented equally. Anyone in their right mind who has watched Fox for more than 5 minutes knows that isn't the case.....unless of course you call Bill O'Reilly "fair and balanced."

Let's see...
Dan Rather's 'fake but accurate' hit piece on Bush's alleged AWOL was the height of non-Fox News fair and balanced reporting, eh?

Fox News reports on the truth- what the far left liberal media tries to hide. So YES, Fox News is very fair and balanced, especially when comparing them to MSNBC, or CNN...or other stations like VH1 and MTV, which are liberal and very biased.

Fox is mainly just a 24 hour daily op ed. When they actually report the news, it's not very biased. The problem is that they choose which stories to report, everything they choose to report mainly makes the dems look bad. They can always find time for Cyndi Sheehan but never seem to find any for Fred Phelps.
The station is not even really news anymore, mostly the TV equivelent to the Patriot radio. Kind of like MTV, once was music videos, now you'd be lucky to see a video if you watched for a week.

Yes, if you want news that stays with facts and not spin-like CNN, then Fox is the place. At least Fox allows different viewpoints. CNN doesn't air anything not approved by moveon.org and the Michael Moore conspiracy theory crowd.
